With that said, let's get started.

A Closer Look At The NFL Week 2 Preseason Odds, Predictions & TV Info

Thursday, August 20

Detroit Lions at Washington Redskins
Date: Thursday, August 20, 2015
Start Time: 7:30 PM ET
Location: Landover, MD
Stadium: FedEx Field

Analysis: While the starters will play a bit longer in this contest than they did in their respective preseason openers, this matchup will ultimately come down to each team's reserves. I'm taking Washington to win outright behind Kirk Cousins over Detroit 's Dan Orlovsky.

The Pick: Washington 27 Detroit 24

Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns
Date: Thursday, August 20, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Stadium: FirstEnergy Stadium

Analysis: E.J. Manuel will get the sbetatart for the Bills while Cleveland will turn to veteran Josh McCown to open this contest. After both starters depart, Buffalo will turn to veteran former starter Matt Cassel and then, Tyrod Taylor. Cleveland brass is hoping that 2014 first round pick Johnny Manziel plays competent football as McCown's backup, but I'm going with the revamped Bills in this one.

The Pick: Buffalo 24 Cleveland 17

Friday, August 21

Atlanta Falcons at NY Jets
Date: Friday, August 21, 2015
Start Time: 7:30 PM ET
Location: East Rutherford, New Jersey
Stadium: MetLife Stadium

Analysis: Falcons backup quarterback T.J. Yates has been one of my favorites ever since he was with Houston a few years ago and I believe he'll outplay both, Geno Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick after Matt Ryan leaves.

The Pick: Atlanta 20 NY Jets 17

Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs
Date: Friday, August 21, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Stadium: Arrowhead Stadium

Analysis: Seattle backups Tavaris Jackson and R.J. Archer can't hold a candle to K.C. backup Chase Daniel. With the Seahawks holding their starters back a bit, I like the Chiefs to win outright at home.

The Pick: Kansas City 24 Seattle 21

Saturday, August 22

Miami Dolphins at Carolina Panthers Seahawks
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 7:00 PM ET
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Stadium: Bank of America Stadium

Analysis: Let's see… Cam Newton, Derek Anderson and Joe Webb will go for the Panthers against Ryan Tannehill, Matt Moore and Josh Freeman for the Dolphins. Hell, I like an aging Anderson more than I like any of Miami 's trio of quarterbacks.

The Pick: Carolina 27 Miami 21

Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 7:00 PM ET
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field

Analysis: Joe Flacco and Matt Schaub will go up against Philly's Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow. I'm thinking Baltimore 's generally outstanding defense will pick off two of Philly's quarterbacks in this contest at the very least.

The Pick: Baltimore 31 Philadelphia 30

Chicago Bears at Indianapolis Colts
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 7:30 PM ET
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Stadium: Lucas Oil Stadium

Analysis: The Bears will start Jay Cutler (why?) and then turn to mediocre backup Jimmy Claussen and inexperienced David Fales. The Colts will go with all-world starter Andrew Luck for a series or two and then put the ball in the capable hands of veteran Matt Hasselbeck, a senior citizen that could still start in Chicago .

The Pick: Indianapolis 34 Chicago 21

New England Patriots at New Orleans Saints
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 7:30 PM ET
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Stadium: Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Analysis: New England will almost assuredly give backup Jimmy Garoppolo a ton of playing time this preseason in anticipation of Tom Brady's suspension. The Saints won't play future Hall of Famer Drew Brees very long in this Week 2 matchup, putting the outcome of this contest in the hands of veteran backup Luke McCown.

The Pick: New England 28 New Orleans 27

Jacksonville Jaguars at NY Giants
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 7:30 PM ET
Location: East Rutherford, New Jersey
Stadium: MetLife Stadium

Analysis: I'm not sold at all on Giants' backups Ryan Nassib and Ricky Stanzi and I believe that Jags veteran backup Chad Henne will lead Jacksonville to victory after Blake Bortles departs.

The Pick: Jacksonville 24 NY Giants 21

Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Stadium: TCF Bank Stadium

Analysis: The Raiders will try to beat the Vikings with former Minnesota starter Christian Ponder taking over once starter Derek Carr leaves. Ha, ha, ha…that's a good one!

The Pick: Minnesota 31 Oakland 24

Denver Broncos at Houston Texans
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Houston, Texas
Stadium: NRG Stadium

Analysis: The Broncos look like they'll be in pretty good shape with backup Brock Osweiler once Peyton Manning decides to hang up his cleats. Houston quarterbacks Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallett and Tom Savage are absolutely nothing to write home about people!

The Pick: Broncos 30 Texans 21

San Diego Chargers at Arizona Cardinals
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2015
Start Time: 9:00 PM ET
Location: Glendale, AZ
Stadium: U of Phoenix Stadium

Analysis: I like Drew Stanton and Logan Thomas to ‘hold it down' at home in this contest against Chargers' veteran backup Kellen Clemens.

The Pick: Arizona 27 San Diego 24

Sunday, August 23

St. Louis Rams at Tennessee Titans
Date: Sunday, August 23, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Stadium: LP Field

Analysis: This contest will come down to the Rams' Nick Foles and underrated backup Austin Davis versus Tennessee 's Marcus Mariota and Zach Mettenberger. I'm going with the former to narrowly beat the latter.

The Pick: St. Louis 27 Tennessee 14

Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers
Date: Sunday, August 23, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Santa Clara, California
Stadium: Levi's Stadium

Analysis: Call me crazy, but I'm going with the Cowboys and Brandon Weeden to manhandle San Francisco and Blaine Gabbert once each team's starting signal-caller departs.

The Pick: Dallas 21 San Francisco 20

Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers
Date: Sunday, August 23, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Stadium: Heinz Field

Analysis: Pittsburgh will look to its trio of backups, (Bruce Gradkowski, Landry Jones and Tahj Boyd) to put some points on the board against the Packers and I believe at least one of them will manage to do that. Green Bay 's Scott Tolzien will try to keep pace once starter Aaron Rodgers leaves, but I don't think Tolzien is going to be ale to pull off the road win in this one.

The Pick: Pittsburgh 28 Green Bay 27

Cincinnati Bengals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Date: Monday, August 24, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Tampa, Florida
Stadium: Raymond James Stadium
TV Info: ESPN
Stream: Watch ESPN

Analysis: The Bucs will want to get this ‘meaningless' home win any way they can – and I think they will, mostly because it's a preseason game. Jameis Winston will start for Tampa Bay but it s backup Mike Glennon that I really expect to lead Tampa Bay to victory. I like Cincinnati backups A.J. McCarron and Josh Johnson a lot, but the Bucs want this game badly and I say they et it for their home fans.

The Pick: Tampa Bay 24 Cincinnati 21
