The New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick did his job on Sunday when he had his team ready for the potent Colts offense, while having his two cornerbacks and his best defensive lineman out. The Patriots played great defense despite all their missing pieces and Belichick simply out coached Tony Dungy. The New England Pats won't play the same defense against the Pittsburgh Steelers because The Steelers have a run-heavy offense. The New England Patriots will heavily include safety Rodney Harrison into stopping the running game. Belichick and the Pittsburgh Steelers have the advantage of having played the Steelers at full strength earlier this season so they know what to expect and game plan for this week. Belichick doesn't allow teams to use their strengths and he's going to do it again this week. I expect the New England Patriots to try and funnel the Pittsburgh Steelers running backs to the outside to stop them from squaring up and delivering blows. The Pats will try to control the middle of the field and force Jerome Bettis and Duce Staley to the outside where they can stop them easier than when they hit the hole at full speed.
