How to deposit funds to your Sportbet account using the P2P

Person to Person (P2P) deposits are processed Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM ET to 10:00 PM ET and Sundays 9:00 AM ET to 8:00 PM ET from your local retail location. We might have available locations 24/7, contact our Customer Service Staff via Live Chat for details.

We accept cash transactions only. Although we have received transactions made online or with a credit/debit card, we hold no responsibility if the agency doesn't accept or confirm the transaction. Any fees for failed non-cash transactions will not be applied. No transactions will be credited until we receive confirmation from our agency. Upon receiving the reference/control number, deposits generally take 20-40 minutes to be confirmed and posted to the account. However, on weekends and game days it may take up to 2 hours. We advise customers to deposit with anticipation of the start time of a particular event.

Customers are limited to one transaction every 8 days in their name per provider. If you have had a transaction in the past 8 days using this method, inform a Customer Service Representative so you are insured the proper instructions.

Make sure the sender name matches exactly the data used at the money transfer agency. Our system does not accept sender or receiver's name changes of ANY kind. Errors on any of these 2 fields will force you to cancel the transaction at your expense.

All clients are responsible for having proper identification for all transactions using P2P transfer services. Failure to have proper identification could result in not being able to recover blacklisted transactions. Sportbet cannot be held liable for frozen funds due to black listing, for the black listing itself occurring, or for transactions placed on hold or under investigation by the international financial service provider.

Fees associated with the Person to Person Deposits

Person to Person MG Red Option

There is a minimum deposit of $100, and a maximum deposit of $970.

Fees are covered on deposit amounts of $250 or more. The fee charged may vary from $9.95 to $11.95. Only the amount confirmed by the agency will be reimbursed into your account. Use of credit/debit cards, instead of cash to do the transaction, may result in the transfer being returned to the sender. Additional fees incurred using credit/debit cards which exceed cash transaction fees will not be covered.

Customers must use the MG red colored form for this type of transaction.

Person to Person MG Express

Person to Person MG Express deposits are currently NOT available.

Person to Person WU Green Option

WU International is actively blocking US residents from using WU Person to Person services for international transfers. Any person in the US sending or receiving funds from multiple countries outside the US can and will be blocked by WU International. The blocking of transactions is solely based on the name of the user in the US. Receiver names used outside the US or sender names used to send funds to a person in the US have no bearing on the blocking of a US resident. For those who continue to choose to use the WU service, the recommendation at this time is to not send or receive funds from multiple different foreign countries. Pick one country to send and receive funds. If you have sent or received funds using WU with multiple foreign countries in the past two weeks, stop using the WU method. If you have sent or received funds with another offshore operation using WU with multiple foreign countries in the past two weeks, stop using the WU method.

The minimum amount that you may deposit using the Person to Person method is $100, maximum allowed is $2000. Deposit information for all amounts should be requested directly with from Customer Service Staff. Be prepared to provide details of all transactions done using WU in your name for the past two weeks. The Customer Service Staff will do their best with the information provided to keep you from being blocked from WU Person to Person international transactions. Keep in mind, any transaction made with any foreign country in the past two weeks could have been your last successful transaction using WU.

Customers must use the WU green colored form for International Person to Person transactions. WU.

Many clients use the automated system to generate names and locations for funds transferred. Unless you are completely clear on the new guidelines for WU Person to Person, it is recommended to contact Customer Service for WU receiver details. All these new precautions may still lead to WU blocking your use of their service. The best recommendation, for clients from the US, is to discontinue use of WU at this time. Residents from all other countries have not had any issues with sending or receiving WU transactions.

 

How to withdraw funds from your Sportbet account using the Person to Person

We process Person to Person withdrawals Mondays through Sundays from 9:00 AM ET to 1:00 PM ET. Payouts are processed only under the account holder's name within 24-48 hours after the request is submitted.

MG Red Option:

The minimum amount to be sent is $100 and the maximum is $1500. Fees range from $10 to $75 according to the amount requested. When the transaction qualifies to be your free/discounted payout, Sportbet will cover $40 of the fee charged. Please check with our Customer Service Staff for availability on payouts via this method.

You are allowed to receive one payment per day through the MG Red Option without exceeding three payouts in 7 days. Due to the dramatic amount of issues with other Person to Person transfer solutions, it is recommended to only do one transaction with MG Red Option per 7 days. While more transactions are permitted, a higher transaction volume per week is not recommended at this time.

It takes up to 24 hours after the withdrawal is processed to receive your reference number needed to pick up the transfer.

MG Express Option:

The minimum amount to be sent is $100 and the maximum is $800. There is currently NO FEE with this payout method. Payouts using this method can be done to the same name only once per 7 day period. This method is "Subject to availability" on daily basis; always check with our Customer Service Staff prior entering your payout request. You may need to choose an alternate method in case the option is out of service for that day. Alternate withdrawal options will incur in a fee if it does not qualify to be your free/discounted payout of the month.

After the withdrawal is processed from your account, the pickup details will be ready within 60 minutes. Chat with our Customer Service Staff to confirm the payout availability for today.

WU Green Option:

WU International is actively blocking US residents from using WU Person to Person services for international transfers. Any person in the US sending or receiving funds from multiple countries can and will be blocked by WU International. The blocking of transactions is solely based on the name of the user in the US. When the transaction qualifies to be your free/discounted payout, Sportbet will cover $40 of the fee charged. You must contact our Customer Service Staff to provide information on all WU transactions received in the past two weeks from senders located outside the US. This two week time period includes all transactions from all offshore locations and operations. Failure to provide this information will pose a large risk to your future use of the WU service. Residents from all other countries have not had any issues with sending or receiving WU transactions.

It takes up to 24 hours after the withdrawal is processed to receive the information required to pick up your transaction.

Remember, Person to Person redemption requests submitted on Mondays between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM ET may qualify to be sent with for free or with a discounted fee if no payouts have been processed in your account during the past 30 days. If you have received a withdrawal from Sportbet in the past 30 days you are NOT eligible for a free/discounted withdrawal. You are allowed ONE free/discounted withdrawal every 30 days only. If you wish to wait 30 days and until a Monday to have your redemption processed for free or with a discounted fee, you must contact Customer Service at the time of your request via Live Chat. You may also call 1-800-430-5896. Any payout request that does not qualify to be sent for free or with a discounted fee, will be processed having the corresponding fees applied without exceptions.
