The Autism Speaks 400 is an annually held race and it is part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, this is one of the 2 races at takes place at the Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware. This first race will be on May 15th, 2011 and the second one of the Sprint Cup Series will be in September. This weekend it is also known as the Monster Mile starting on May 14th with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, continuing with the Heluva Good! 200” NASCAR Nationwide Series race on May 15th and finally the Dover Autism Speaks 400 on May 15th, 2011.
The Dover International Speed way will have many other activities for fan throughout the weekend, for example on Sat. The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk will be taking place. This will give the fans an opportunity to walk with some of the NASCAR drivers and personalities, like Joey Logano, Matt Kenseth, David Reutimann, Bobby Labonte, Krista Voda and many others.
The Autism 400 has been known by several other names since the first one was raced in 1969. Previous names Mason-Dixon 300 (1969-1970), Mason-Dixon 5(1971-1983)'Budweiser 500 (1984-1994), Miller Genuine Draft 500 (1995) among other names. Since 2007 it started to be the Autism Speaks 400 but sponsored by several different companies. Last year was Heluva Good! This year it is sponsored by Hershey's Milk & Milkshakes.
