The 2011 Wonderful Pistachios 400 formely known as the Air Guard 400, airs live on ABC Television at 7:30 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2011. This is the last race of the regular stock Nascar Sprint Cup, before The Chase starts. This is when the 12 best drivers in the standings advance for the "chase" of the Nascar Sprint Cup Championship.

Various Chevrolet and Pontiac teams would run paint schemes that featured different Looney Tunes. From 2003-2009, the race became rock and roll themed, with some Chevrolet teams donning paint schemes to promote various rock artists.
