Sat, Jan 26 2008 , Madison Square Garden , New York, NY

The much awaited match between Felix Trinidad and Roy Jones is finally going to happen.

Both the fighters were to face each other 7 years ago, but the match got cancelled following the knockout of Trinidad by Bernard Hopkins.

The legendary duo have reportedly agreed to fight at a compromise weight of 170lbs. Jones weighed in at 175lbs for his most recent fight, against Anthony Hanshaw, but Trinidad has never fought above 160.

While Trinidad also known as Tito is a former three-division champion will be coming back after his long retirement to give a tough fight to his contender. With a record of 35 Knockouts, Tito is hoping to give his fans a fight worth watching, as he moves on to 170 pounds for the first time to fight a 12 round. Some of the titles won by Tito before quitting in 2002 are middleweight, welterweight and junior middleweight.

Whereas Roy Jones Jr. with a track-record of 51-4 and 38 Knockouts is considered a great competition to Tito, as Jones has fought in 175 pounds (for last 11 years) and for the first time will come down to as light as 170 pounds. Before losing his last three matches by clean KOs in 2004-2005, some of the Jones's winning titles are heavyweight, middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight.
