BOXING 2010
FLOYD MAYWEATHER vs. SHANE MOSLEY

May will start with a very interesting and awaited boxing fight. Floyd Mayweather Jr. will fight against the professional boxer Shane Mosley in the chase of the Super World Welterweight Title.

This fight is going to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena located at Paradise, Nevada. This is going to be an exciting fight because it will not only attract 18000 fans, but also because it is going to add a point on the winning record either for Mayweather or Mosley. Mayweather has an incredible record and he is the favorite to win the fight.

On one side of the ring we have Shane Mosley which is an American fighter born in Pomona California back in 1971. He is currently
WBA Welterweight Super Champion. As an amateur we can see that he accomplished various titles that we can list as:

•1989 United States Amateur Champion at Lightweight (132 lbs)
•1989 World Junior Championships Silver Medalist in San Juan (PUR) (132 lbs)
•1990 United States Amateur Champion at Lightweight (132 lbs)
•1990 Goodwill Games Bronze Medalist in Seattle (USA) (132 lbs)
•1992 United States Amateur Champion at Light Welterweight (139 lbs)

He also had an amateur record of 96-3. Now in the professional career he has a winning record of 46-5 in which all of the winners were won with a KO. There was a fight in which he had no contest, so that is why there is a missing number on his record.

On the other side of the ring there is Floyd Mayweather which was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan back in 1977. He is younger than Shane Mosley, but not less experienced. He has won lots of contests and it is reflected on his winning record. He is only 5 feet and 7.25 but he has an outstanding winning record of 40 winnings out of 40 fights, into his professional career. He has won 25 fights by KO which is impressive, but more impressive is that he does not have even on loss on his entire professional career.

The odd are on Mayweather side and it is ofcourse because of his incredible winning record. He is not going to release his winning ride for this fight hence Mosley will have a really tough contender.

Both of the fighters have lots of experience and that is what it counts in terms of winning the fight: Experience. In this case the KO record is what it counts and also the winning record. In this case Mosley has all the KO’s and Mayweather has the winnings. The fight is tough but Mayweather is not going to let Sugar Mosley win this one in front of his eyes.
