PacMan. The Destroyer. Manny Pacquiao by any other name. But on November 18, the 27–year–old
Filipino pride has his mind on one thing. That is, "His job" to stop Erik Morales and put him
into early retirement.
Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Wynn Las Vegas, Pacquiao-Morales III will be
a 12-round super featherweight bout, taking place Saturday, November 18, from the
Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV, and broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View.

Pacquiao vs. Morales III has all the makings to be the best fight of the year & the most
exciting fight of their trilogy. Each fighter has recorded a victory over the other in their
previous bouts. Morales won the first fight by unanimous decision with scores of 115-113.
Six months later, before a sold-out crowd in Las Vegas, Pacquiao avenged the loss by dealing
Morales the first knockout defeat of his career. Come witness the grand finale of one of
boxing's greatest rivalries live! Be there on November 18th at the Thomas & Mack Center
in Las Vegas for Pacquiao vs Morales!
Pacquiao comes in and poses a serious threat to Morales in that he's an explosive puncher
with his combo's and with him being a southpaw, he comes at opponents in angles that their
not necessarily used to. This could result in a KO as well.
Since the last time they fought, Pacquiao defeated Oscar Larios in convincing fashion, keeping sharp
while awaiting his third encounter with Morales. They will meet again on November 18, by which time
Morales would have been inactive for ten months. For the first time in his career, Morales will be
a justifiable underdog in an uphill battle.
Pacquiao, (42-3-2, 32 KOs), from General Santos City, The Philippines, returns to the
ring looking for his third victory of 2006. He won a 12-round unanimous decision over
former world champion Oscar Larios on July 1 at the sold-out Araneta Coliseum in The
Philippines, the same arena that hosted Ali-Frazier III – the “Thrilla in Manila.”
Morales, (48-4, 34 KOs), from Tijuana, Mexico, is universally recognized as one of the
best boxers in the world at any weight, pound-for-pound. He is also one of the most
exciting and has fought in several of the most sensational battles of recent years,
including his 12-round unanimous decision victory over Pacquiao in their first battle.
A former WBC super bantamweight champion, two-time WBC featherweight champion and
WBC super featherweight champion, Morales became the second fighter from Mexico to win
world titles in three weight divisions – Julio Cesar Chavez was the first. Like Chavez,
Erik is also a certain future Hall of Famer.
Morales’ Hall of Fame caliber resume boasts victories over Pacquiao, Marco Antonio Barrera,
Carlos Hernandez, Jesus ‘El Matador’ Chavez, Guty Espadas, Paulie Ayala, Injin Chi,
Kevin Kelley, Wayne McCullough, Junior Jones, Jose Luis Bueno, Daniel Zaragoza and
Hector Acero-Sanchez.
Do not miss out on this Battle between these two amazing boxers, that takes place at the
Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV.
