2011 Travelers Professional Golf

The Travelers Championship is a professional golf tournament that is part of the PGA Tour. This tournament is held at the TPC River Highlands located in Cromwell, Connecticut between June 20th-26th, 2011.
This tournament was established back in 1952 and is normally a par 70 competition. The yardage of the competition is 6820 and is also categorized as a Stroke play competition. The Purse is around $6 million and the winner gets a share of about $1 million.
In 2009, as we can see in the table bellow, Kenny Perry broke a record that was setup back in 1982. Lets see if this time someone is going to be able to brake it.

Bubba Watson his first ever PGA tour championship. It was the best comeback since
2007 on the Bristish Open
when
Padraig Harrington had the same exact play. Watson overcame a six-stroke deficit Sunday to force a playoff with Pavin and Scott Verplank, then beat Verplank with a par on the second playoff hole.
Charity
Twenty-nine of 106 players participating in a practice round Tuesday for the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands landed a ball on The Umbrella at 15 ½, the 40-foot wide floating green shaped like the Travelers umbrella logo.Travelers donated $10,000 to the Central Florida Children’s Home on behalf of Justin Rose who recorded the closest shot to the pin at 4 ½ inches.
