Euro 2012 Poland - Ukraine
The UEFA European Soccer Championship also well known as Euro Cup, will be the 14th Cup for the region, and same as previous championships is being organized by UEFA .
This year will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine decision made in 2007 by the UEFA’s Executive Committee. Is the first time this event will be held in this two countries.
The opening match of Euro Cup 2012 will be Poland vs. Greece at the National Stadium located at Poland in Warsaw Province at 17:00 Local Time.
Venues & Stadiums
Organization committee selected 8 different cities as host venues, and with no difference from past tournaments each of the four groups will be based nearby two stadiums.
An important fact from UEFA requirements is an obligatory well-improved infraestructure, most likely reason why six of the eight venues are brand new and the two left are under major renovations.
