UFC 67 All or Nothing
MMA fans and fight bettors are eagerly awaiting UFC 67 - taking place on February 3rd in Las Vegas.
UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre has been removed from the UFC 67 show Feb. 3 in Las Vegas due
to a knee injury.
The card also features the debut of two fighters new to the UFC, but definitely not new to mixed martial arts.
MMA legend, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will step into the Octagon for the first time.
Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic will take on Eddie Sanchez and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will face Marvin “The “Beastman” Eastman
Jackson’s first scheduled UFC fight is against Marvin Eastman (13-6-1) at UFC 67 on February 3. The rematch that
UFC fans will no doubt pay to see. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will be fighting Marvin "the Beastman" Eastman.
Back in 2003, Rampage beat Liddell via technical knockout during a Pride FC tournament. It is the only unavenged
loss on “Iceman’s” record. This should actually be an exciting fight. Eastman's first win ever was in 2000 over Rampage.
say what you will about Sanchez and his chances against Cro Cop, but note the following: he’s got one-punch
knockout power, which in a heavyweight is a dangerous equalizer; and he’s got heart, as evidenced by his March
2006 win over Wade Shipp, who put him on the mat twice (with head kicks no less) before Sanchez roared back
to win via TKO in the final round. But regardless, Sanchez is coming to fight, and unless Cro Cop knocks him out,
he’s going to keep coming.
Jackson has proven over the years to be a powerful and skilled fighter. His record speaks for itself with a KO
of Chuck Lidell and most resently a decision over Matt Lindland. Eastman is no joke, but he must win this fight
to move forward in his UFC career. There’s no doubt that a second loss to Eastman would be disastrous in the near
term for Rampage and the build up to a Liddell-Rampage 2 mega fight.
