Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin

The Huntington Beach Badboy” returns to action for the first time since a May 2008 loss to Lyoto Machida and is 0-2-1 since his last win in October 2006 over Ken Shamrock.

Ortiz, the longest reigning light heavyweight champ in UFC history, will face off with Forrest Griffin, as he makes his return to the Octagon after a year and a half break. Ortiz vowed to put on a show for UFC fans and win back his 205-pound belt.

Griffin and Ortiz first met at UFC 59, where Ortiz scraped a split decision victory over Griffin, in what became Griffin's coming out party. Griffin was solidified as a potential contender, going three rounds with a former UFC light heavyweight champion, and not just another face from the initial season of "The Ultimate Fighter."

Griffin briefly held the 205-pound title after defeating Quinton “Rampage” Jackson last July, but is coming off back-to-back losses to Rashad Evans and Anderson Silva.
