NFL Week 9 Odds & TV Schedule
Week 9 of the NFL starts on Thursday with a divisional matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers, the two teams fighting for the NFC South top spot despite not having a winning record on their resume.
On Sunday, the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos will steal the show on Sunday when Tom Brady and Peyton Manning clash for the 16th time. NFL Week 9 Picks
Bet My NFL Week 9 Lock Picks
It’s always tough to give up 10 points or more in this late in the NFL season (click here for Week 10 Odds & TV Schedule) but both Kansas City and San Francisco face opponents that are used to giving up a lot more than that per game and that is why both are my NFL week 9 lock picks. The Chiefs and 49ers have defenses that should shut down the anemic offenses that their opponents bring to their respective matchups in Week 9 as well. NFL Betting Picks
Bet My NFL Week 9 Upset Picks
I never imagined that Washington behind the leadership of Colt McCoy would be Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant and the high flying Dallas Cowboys, but they did on primetime under the Monday Night Football lights. More details

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
When: Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8:25 pm ET
TV: NFL Network
Betting Line: New Orleans -2.5
Analysis: There are two keys about New Orleans victory over Green Bay this past Sunday night that should lead football handicappers to believe that the Saints will cover on the road against Carolina this Thursday night.
First, the Saints played a zone defense. This is key because by doing so, New Orleans was able to slow the onslaught of Green Bay’s offense and prevent too many big plays. Second, New Orleans got their rushing attack going with Mark Ingram. Ingram ran for 172 yards and a TD. That allowed Brees to open up in the passing game and get the ball to Brandin Cooks, New Orleans awesome receiver. NFL Week 9 Football
New Orleans Vs. Carolina NFL Week 9 Thursday Night Football Odds
Welcome to the second half of the 2014 NFL season. This week’s NFL Week 9 Thursday Night Football game kicks off with Drew Brees, Jimmy Graeme and the New Orleans Saints (3-4, 1st in NFC South) as 2.5 point road favorites versus Cam Newton, Riverboat Ron Rivera and the Carolina Panthers (3-4-1, 1st in NFC South).
Being home underdogs might just favor Carolina as the Saints are 7-19 against the spread in their last 26 games as road favorites. Thursday Night Football Beting
NFL Week 9 Free Picks – Philadelphia vs. Houston
In their 12 and change years in the NFL, the Houston Texans (4-4, 2nd in AFC South) have beaten every team in the league bar the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles (5-2, 2nd in NFC East). Houston is 0-3 straight up and 1-2 against the spread all-time against the Eagles and in week 9 the Texans will try to cross Philadelphia off of that list this Sunday afternoon.
Philadelphia came up short last week against Arizona on the road. Unfortunately, their defense gave up a 75 yard touchdown pass with less than 2 minutes on the clock pushing the score to 24-20 in favor of the Cards. Free Betting Football Picks
