College Basketball Expert Pick – LSU Visits No.1 Florida Gators

College Basketball Expert Pick – LSU Visits No.1 Florida Gators

The Florida Gators may be the country’s new number one team, but they remain a tough bet to back in my college basketball expert picks. They’re coming off a Tuesday night game where they nearly lost to the Vanderbilt Commodores, albeit on the road, by a score of 57-54. The Gators are now 3-5 ATS through the month of February. Is there anything they can do to earn your trust?

Where Florida excels is in front court domination. I know that sounds like something you’d hear on a Saturday morning wrestling commercial, but those are the facts. When the Gators can overwhelm you on the boards, and use their overall depth up front to punish you for sixty minutes they usually cover.

That won’t be so easy against LSU, a team that crashes the boards as well as anyone else in the country. They haven’t been a mainstay in my college basketball picks because they’re a horrifyingly bad cover team, with a strange record of 5-5 SU and 3-5-2 ATS in their last 10 games. It shouldn’t shock anyone that LSU is also a paltry 2-5-2 ATS on the road this season. None of this sounds appealing, right?

LSU Tigers (16-10) vs. #1 Florida Gators (26-2)
The LSU Tigers travel to the sunshine state to face the number one team in the nation Florida Gators this Saturday.
Starts: 03/01/2014 4:00PM
Stephen OConnell Center, 2020 West University Avenue
Gainesville, Florida

The x-factor in this game will be Johnny O’Bryant III, LSU’s destructive, 6-foot-9 and 256 pound forward who averages 15.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. O’Bryant and the Tigers just went toe-to-toe with Julius Randle and Kentucky in a 76-77 loss in overtime. O’Bryant is fighting to make a name for himself as a junior on a bad team in a stacked draft class. There’s no better place for him to prove his worth than by giving Patric Young and Florida all they can handle.

The hardest part about leveraging Florida in my NCAAB expert pick isn’t just the matchup – its’ their offence. They’ve won their last three games by just 4.0 points on average, and that includes teams that should be relative cake walks like Vanderbilt and Auburn. Florida relies on defensive intimidation, but if you have a larger roster like LSU, you can get past them quite frequently. The Gators allow the eighth fewest points in the country with 58.6 points against on average, but are nowhere near the type of scoring juggernaut you need to be in order to be a comfortable college basketball betting asset.

LSU shouldn’t be an attractive pick to bet on here, but with a huge spread and O’Bryant finding all the motivation he needs to make an impact on this game, LSU should be able to give Florida a run for their money. I love the Tigers to cover in this game, even if I know that Florida will win straight up.

San Diego State College Basketball

College Hoops Spread Betting Free Pick – San Diego State vs. Fresno State

The thirteenth ranked San Diego Aztecs face a precarious situation in college hoops spread betting free picks. They’re just two games ahead of New Mexico the twenty-fifth ranked team in the country. You can’t totally trust the Aztecs because of their ranking. The only reason that they’re up that high is because they lead the Mountain West Conference.

And if you know anything about college hoops, then you know that that’s not a very big deal. Listen, San Diego State has produced some excellent NBA talent and have always surprised us a little in the tournament, but they are also a bit of a temperamental nightmare in the sportsbook. San Diego has gone a blistering 8-2 SU but are just 6-4 ATS in those games.

To put things simply, they’re meant to win every game so they’re always facing a huge handicap in college hoops spread betting. That’s problematic when the Aztecs might not be that good to begin with, and when you consider who their opponent is this weekend.

NCAAB – #13 San Diego State Aztecs vs. Fresno State Bulldogs
The San Diego State Aztecs and the Fresno State Bulldogs hit the hard court on Saturday night in a Mountain West conference matchup.
Starts: 03/01/2014 10:00PM
Save Mart Center, 2650 East Shaw Avenue
Fresno, California

The Fresno State Bulldogs have been an absolute delight as a college hoops spread betting free pick. They’re just 6-4 SU in their last 10 games, and are a pretty awful team overall, but they’re also 8-2 ATS during that stretch of games. That includes eight straight covers. The last time they played San Diego State, they lost 60-68 but covered a massive number.

Fresno is what I like to refer to as a perfect gambling storm. They’re a great offensive team in a bad conference, that can’t play very good defense and they’re so unimportant on the national landscape that nobody cares about them in betting. So what’s happened? They’re become a great college hoops spread betting free pick and have slammed the OVER in 9 of their last 10 games. You NEVER see a team like this appear out of the blue. Fresno should be an automatic take down the home stretch and feel free to double up by pushing the TOTAL every time.

NHL Playoffs Round 1 Predictions – The Best Exact Series Prices

No Love Lost In This Game

This will be the third and final game of the season between the two teams as they look to each get that coveted win to take the series, anyone who follows hockey knows that these two teams don´t really like each other, they find a reason to duke things out almost every time they play and now with one win a piece this game will be one of the most important regular season games this year. The Canadian Olympic gold medal hockey team´s MVP , Sidney Crosby is the man of the hour while at the same time he is the starting forward for Pittsburgh, call it a secret weapon if you may.

NHL – Montreal Canadiens vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
The Metropolitan division leaders Pittsburgh Penguins host the Montreal Canadians this Thursday Night in the NHL.
Starts: 02/27/2014 7:00PM
CONSOL Energy Center, 1001 Fifth Avenue
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Montreal is playing against one of its own in this game but that will not get in the way, this is the NHL and the goal now is to win the Stanley Cup with your respected team. The Canadians are led on offense by P.K. Subban who has 39 points this season to go along with his 31 assists, he is the center man that really accounts for most of the teams goals, his ability to go unseen and be in the right place is impressive, Pittsburgh will really have to make sure he is in their eyes at all times.

Sidney Crosby leads the Penguins with 78 points, 50 assists and 28 goals this season alone, he is on route for another MVP award with the way he is playing and the best part of it is that he is getting his teammates involved, attracting the double coverage to then pass the puck and get the score. This team also moves up and down the ice very well, they are clean but very aggressive, the important part for them in this one will be penalty minutes, they need to control that to win it all.

Pittsburgh is -210 in this game and normally anything over -190 I take the dog +1.5 goals because of the juice but this is one of those cases that the favorite is simply better in all aspects and will deliver possibly a shutout in this one.
