💯 Free Expert Picks NFL Week 2

NY Jets (0-1) at Oakland Raiders (1-0)
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 4:05 PM ET
Where: Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, California
TV: CBS
NFL Odds: Oakland -13.5
Total: 43.5

Analysis: The Jets looked mostly lost and confused in their 21-12 Week 1 loss against Buffalo while failing to cover the spread as 7.5-point road dogs as veteran quarterback Josh McCown tossed two interceptions and New York got limited to a paltry 38 rushing yards.

Oakland limited Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans to just six second half points while Derek Carr completed 22 of 32 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns to lead Oakland to a solid 26-16 win over the Titans.

There’s a reason why a whopping 73 percent of public bettors like the raiders to win and cover the spread against New York as near two-touchdown home favorites and it’s because the Jets have major problems at quarterback where Josh McCown is clearly not the answer and Christian Hackenberg is apparently not ready to replace the aging veteran.

The Jets are a nearly winless 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and an identical 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in the month of September while the Raiders have gone 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in September, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 against their AFC conference rivals. Don’t think twice about it people. Derek Carr and the raiders win big to cover the spread!

Free Pick NFL Week 2: Oakland -13.5

Detroit Lions (1-0) at New York Giants (0-1)
When: Monday, September 18, 2017 at 8:30 PM ET
Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
TV: ESPN
NFL Odds: NY Giants -5
Total: OFF

Analysis: Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford tossed four touchdown passes to lead Detroit to a solid 35-23 home win over Arizona in their opener to cash in as 2.5-point home underdogs. More importantly, Detroit’s defense picked off Arizona signal-caller Carson Palmer three times to help get the win.

Eli Manning completed 29 of 38 passes for 220 yards, but failed to throw a touchdown pass and tossed one pick in New York’s humbling 19-3 loss to Dallas in their opener on Sunday night. The G-Men were limited to a paltry 35 rushing yards in the loss and only managed to put a third quarter field goal on the board in the resounding defeat.

After witnessing both teams in Week 1, the Lions and Matthew Stafford are the pick to get it done against New York despite being on the road. Detroit is 5-2 ATS in their last seven Monday night games while New York has gone 0-5 ATS in their last five Week 2 games. The road team in this series is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings, but it is New York’s lack of any rushing attack whatsoever that really makes me think the G-Men are going down at home. Back Stafford and the Lions to get it done against a New York team that is completely unbalanced on offense – for the second straight season apparently.

Free Pick NFL Week 2: Detroit +5

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 4:25 PM ET
Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington
TV: FOX
NFL Odds: Seattle -12.5
Total: 43

Analysis: The Seattle Seahawks struggled to score in their 17-9 Week 1 loss against Green Bay as Russell Wilson was limited to just 158 passing yards and Seattle rushed for just 90 total yards, but the Seahawks are the pick in this Week 2 NFC West divisional matchup seeing as how San Francisco managed just three points in their 23-3 beat down against Carolina on Sunday and have some serious problems at quarterback where veteran Brian Hoyer should probably be out of the league at this point. The Niners were limited to just 51 rushing yards in their regular season opener and Hoyer passed for a modest 193 yards with one interception.

Seattle has gone 5-0-1 in their last six home games against San Francisco and 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings against the Niners overall. More importantly, the Seahawks are extremely difficult to beat at home and will have a small measure of desperation to avoid the home loss in this contest. Simply put, go along with the whopping 81 percent of public bettors that like the Seahawks to get it done in this one!

Free Pick NFL Week 2: Seattle -12.5
Bengals Vs Browns NFL Week 4 Spread & Betting Predictions

Upset Picks NFL Week 2

The Cleveland Browns will look to take down one of their AFC North division rivals in Week 2 after putting up a fine effort in their regular season opener. The Washington Redskins will look to rebound from their Week 1 home loss when they hit the road to take on a Los Angeles Rams team that put on one of the most surprising performances of any team in Week 1. Last but not least, the Green Bay Packers will look to get it done on the road after mostly dominating in their opener.

💯Fresh Upset Picks NFL Week 2

If you’re looking for NFL teams to bet on in Week 2 that are offering plenty of upset value, then look no further. My trio of picks that you’re about to get all fit the bill are certified 💯 FRESH!

Cleveland Browns (0-1) at Baltimore Ravens (1-0)
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland
TV: CBS
Stream: CBS Sports
NFL Odds: Baltimore -7.5
Total: 41

Analysis: The Browns made my Week 1 pick play out perfectly as they covered the spread as 9-point home underdogs against Pittsburgh. Rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer played very well by completing 20 of 30 passes for 222 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the loss and the Browns defense limited the Steelers to just seven second half points.

Baltimore smacked Cincinnati around in its 20-0 Week 1win over AFC North rival Cincinnati as Joe Flacco completed a modest 9 of 17 passes for 121 yards with one touchdown and one interception while Baltimore’s defense picked off Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton four times in the win to help the Ravens cash in as 2.5-point road dogs.

For this Week 2 AFC North divisional battle, I’m going to advise you to back the reinvigorated browns to get the upset ATS cover as 7.5-point road dogs against a Baltimore team that doesn’t have a very scary offense if you ask me.

I know the Ravens are a near-perfect 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games against their division rivals, but Baltimore is also just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win of more than 14 points.

I say forget about Cleveland’s 1-10-1 ATS mark in their last dozen games against a team with a winning record and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 road games. The Browns now have the look and feel of a competent team if you ask me. Despite the fact that a whopping 70 percent of the betting public likes Baltimore in this Week 2 matchup, I say play the browns and their young quarterback to get the ATS road upset at the very least!

Upset Pick Week 2: Cleveland +7.5

Washington Redskins (0-1) at L.A. Rams (1-0)
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 4:25 PM ET
Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, California
TV: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go
NFL Odds: L.A. Rams -2.5
Total: 46

Analysis: Washington got outscored 11-0 in the fourth quarter en route to a humbling 30-17 loss against NFC East rival Philadelphia in their regular season opener while failing to cover the NFL betting line as a 1-point home underdog in the process. Quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 23 of 40 passes for 240 yards with one touchdown and one interception, but the Skins lost three fumbles in the defeat including one fumble by Cousins that was returned for a touchdown. The Redskins were also limited to just 64 rushing yards and lost the time of possession battle by almost 10 full minutes.

Second-year quarterback Jared Goff looked fantastic for the Rams as he completed 21 of 29 passes for 306 yards and one touchdown and Los Angeles got two pick-six touchdowns in their stunning 46-99 win over Indianapolis in Week 1. Running backs Todd Gurley and Malcolm Brown both added rushing scores in the win while cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson and LaMarcus Joyner added interception returns for scores.

While the Rams’ new-look offense looked solid in their opener, it was really the poor play of Colts quarterback Scott Tolzien that really helped them get the emphatic win in Week 1. This time around, however, I don’t see Los Angeles getting past a Washington team that can score the ball pretty well and one that will have a bit of desperation to get the win after losing at home in Week 1.

Washington has gone 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS loss, 5-1 ATS in their L/6 games against a team with a winning record and a robust 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games overall. Even though they’ve got a new head coach and a new offense, the Rams are just 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 home games and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall. Pure and simple desperation will be what drives the Redskins to the outright road win as 2.5-point underdogs!

Upset Pick NFL Week 2: Washington +2.5

Green Bay Packers (1-0) at Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 8:30 PM ET
Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia
TV: NBC
Stream: NBC Sports Live
NFL Odds: Atlanta -2.5
Total: 53.5

Analysis: While Green Bay got a bit of help from the refs in their 17-9 Week 1 win over Seattle, the Packers still looked really good in beating Seattle 17-9 to cash in as 3-point home faves against the Seahawks. Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 28 of 42 passes for 311 yards with one touchdown and one interception and the Packers’ defense limited Seattle’s Russell Wilson to just 158 passing yards in the win.

The Atlanta Falcons got past the rebuilding Chicago bears in their 2317 Week 1 win, but they weren’t very impressive as they had to hold on at the end and failed to cover the NFL betting line as a 6.5-point road favorite. Veteran quarterback Matt Ryan completed 21 of 30 passes for 321 yards with one touchdown and no picks while running back Devonta Freeman added a rushing score in the win.

For this Week 2 matchup of Super Bowl 52 contenders, I’m going to advise you to go along with the 63 percent of public bettors that already liking Green Bay to cover the spread by winning outright as 2.5-point road dogs.

The Packers are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games in the month of September and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record. While the Falcons are 7-1 ATS in their last eight Week 2 games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against their NFC conference rivals, the road team in this series is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings while the underdog is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Green Bay has the better quarterback in this matchup and the better defense. Back the Pack to get to done people!

NFL Week 2 Upset Pick: Green Bay +2.5

Parlay Picks NFL Week 2

Can Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals rebound from their humbling Week 1 loss? Will the Kansas City Chiefs put on another powerful performance when they host a Philadelphia Eagles team that also won their opener? Last but not least, can the Denver Broncos hold down the fort against Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 2 interconference showdown?

Parlay Picks NFL Week 2

After a handful of unexpected outcomes took place on the opening weekend of the 2017 NFL regular season, pro football bettors everywhere need as much expert betting advice as possible heading into Week 2. If you like stringing wagers together as part of a potentially bankroll-boosting parlay, then you’ve come to the right place. Now, let’s get to it!

2-Team Parlay Pick NFL Week 2

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • Kansas City Chiefs

Arizona Cardinals (0-1) at Indianapolis Colts (0-1)
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana
NFL Odds: Indianapolis +7.5
Total: 44.5
TV: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go

Analysis: The Cardinals didn’t show up in their 35-23 road loss against Detroit in Week 1 as they allowed Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford to toss four TD passes and Detroit to outscore them 20-6 in the final quarter. More importantly, Arizona saw Pro Bowl running back David Johnson leave the game late in the third quarter with a wrist injury after getting limited to just 23 rushing yards on 11 carries, although he did add six receptions for 68 yards.

Veteran quarterback Carson Palmer was mediocre at best in the opener as he was limited to 27 of 48 passing for 269 yards and one touchdown, but a trio of costly interceptions, one of which Lions cornerback Justin Bethel returned 82 yards for a touchdown. The Cards led 17-9 lead with 5:37 left in the third quarter but got outscored 26-6 from that point on.

The Indianapolis Colts – and specifically, quarterback Scott Tolzien – looked completely pitiful in their stunning 46-9 beatdown at the hands of the revitalized Los Angeles Rams on Sunday while never coming close to covering the spread as a 3.5-point road underdog as starting quarterback Andrew Luck missed the affair with his ailing shoulder.

Tolzien completed 9 of 18 passes for 128 yards but tossed two costly pick-six interceptions that the Colts could never bounce back from before being benched in favor of Jacoby Brissett, who the team said will start in Week 2 against Arizona. Indianapolis also allowed Rams quarterback Jared Goff to complete 21 of 29 passes for 306 yards and one touchdown in the humbling defeat.

As far as this Week 2 matchup is concerned, I like the Arizona Cardinals to rebound in a big way even if David Johnson isn’t at 100 percent and Indianapolis is going to start a clearly more competent Jacoby Brissett in this affair.

The Cardinals are a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last 6 Week 2 games and a robust 13-3 ATS in their last 16 road games against a team with a losing home record. Conversely, the Colts are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games in the month of September.

Indianapolis wisely got Brissett from New England just before the start of the regular season. But clearly, the Colts are a team without much leadership, which is why head coach Chuck Pagano is my pick to be the first head coach fired this season. Keep it simple and back the Cardinals to win and cover the spread with room to spare after falling apart in the second half of their opener against Detroit.

Parlay Pick NFL Week 2: Arizona -7.5

Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) at Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri
NFL Odds: Kansas City -4.5
Total: 47.5
TV: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go

Analysis: The Philadelphia Eagles outscored Washington 11-0 in the fourth quarter en route to a solid 30-17 win in their opener. Quarterback Carson Wentz completed 26 of 39 passes for 307 yards with two touchdowns and one interception to help Philly cash in as a 1-point road favorite. The Eagles also forced four turnovers in the win while limiting the Redskins to just 64 rushing yards and winning the time of possession battle by almost 10 full minutes.

Kansas City made my Week 1 pick of a cover against New England stand up as the Chiefs stunned Tom Brady and company in their 42-27 season-opening win while covering the spread as an 8-point road dog. Veteran quarterback Alex Smith was outstanding as he completed 28 of 35 passes for 368 yards and four touchdowns while running back Kareem Hunt made the most of his opportunity as the Chiefs new starter by rushing for 148 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries while adding five receptions for 98 yards and two additional scores. The 42 points are the most the Patriots have allowed since coach Bill Belichick took over in 2000, a span of 307 games — including playoffs. Smith hit Tyreek Hill and Hunt with touchdown bombs of 75 and 78 yards, respectively.

While Philadelphia was solid in their Week 1 win over Washington, the Kansas City Chiefs are the pick for me in this Week 2 pairing, seeing as how they are the only team in this contest with an elite defense.

While the Eagles have gone 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games in the month of September, the Birds are also just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 Week 2 games and an identical 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games. On the flip side of the coin, Kansas City has gone 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 5-2 ATS in their L/7 games against a team with a winning record.

While the Eagles have gone 4-1 in their last five meetings against the Chiefs, I like Kansas City to get it done as head coach Andy Reid beats his former team by at least a touchdown.

Parlay Pick NFL Week 2: Kansas City -4.5

3-Team Parlay Pick NFL Week 2

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Denver Broncos

Dallas Cowboys (1-0) at Denver Broncos (1-0)
When: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 4:25 PM ET
Where: Sports Authority Field, Denver, Colorado
NFL Odds: Denver +1.5
Total: OFF
TV: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go

Analysis: Dallas laid an emphatic 19-3 smackdown on the division rival New York Giants in their regular season opener as quarterback Dak Prescott completed 24 of 39 passes for 268 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions while Ezekiel Elliott added 104 rushing yards in the win. The Cowboys limited the Giants to a paltry 35 rushing yards while picking off Eli Manning once and not allowing the G-Men into the end zone.

In their MNF game the Broncos blocked a late game field-goal attempt that helped Denver squeak past the San Diego Chargers. Starting QB Trevor Siemian and the bruising Broncos D did just enough for the W.

While the Cowboys are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in Week 2 and a robust 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following an ATS win, Dallas is also just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. With the Broncos going a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games in the month of September and a consistent 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 home games before the start of this season, I like Von Miller and company to get the hard-fought home win by harassing Dak Prescott and shutting down Ezekiel Elliott en route to the narrow win.

With the home team in this series going 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and Denver having one of the stingiest defenses in all of football, I like the Broncos to get the win in Week 2 as surprising home underdogs against a Cowboys team that I don’t believe is nearly as good as they looked against New York in Week 1, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

Parlay Pick NFL Week 2: Denver +1.5
