Why Bet The Cincinnati Bengals To Beat The Browns

The Bengals offense finally put up some points in their 27-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers last week. They recorded 301 total yards including 110 rushing yards. QB Andy Dalton completed 21 of 27 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns. WR AJ Green caught ten passes for 111 yards and one touchdown.

Rookie rusher Joe Mixon still hasn’t started a game while stuck behind Jeremey Hill and Giovani Bernard. If last weekend is any indication it is crystal clear last week that he’s likely going to get the role of starter for the Bengals going forward. Mixon had two plays of more than 20 yards and showed encouraging explosiveness at times.

Mixon got the largest share of the snaps among the running backs against the Green Bay Packers, playing 34 offensive snaps to Hill’s 14 and Bernard’s 13. He finished with 18 carries for 62 yards and three catches for 39 yards.

Why Bet The Cleveland Browns To Beat The Bengals

Browns head coach Hue Jackson was the Bengals offensive coordinator in 2014 and 2015 before leaving Cincinnati in January of 2016 to become head coach of the Browns. His intimate knowledge of the Red Rifle and AJ Green will benefit the Browns in their defensive preparation. That advantage slices both ways by the Bengals knowing what Jackson likes to do offensively.

Rookie defensive end Myles Garrett, the first pick in the 2017 draft, is hopeful of making his debut for the Browns after missing the first three games with a sprained ankle. He did not practice Wednesday.

If You Still Can’t Decide Who To Bet On:

  • Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 4.
  • Bengals are 10-4 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
  • Browns are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 4.
  • Browns are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a home underdog of 0.5-3.0.

Bengals Vs. Browns Week 4 Betting Analysis:

The Bengals have won seven of the last ten games in the series against the Browns. Cincinnati has covered the spread in six of those seven wins, including the last four in a row.

I am betting on Cincinnati to win and cover the one field-goal spread.

Buffalo Vs Atlanta Odds & Betting Tips

The undefeated Atlanta Falcons’ redemption tour comes home this Sunday when they host the Buffalo Bills. Atlanta has won its first three games by an average of seven points. Why Bet The Buffalo Bills To Beat The Falcons

The Bills defense is getting no respect. They are allowing just 12.3 points per game, the fewest in the league. Buffalo is the only team in the NFL that has not allowed a passing touchdown.

A solid defense alone will not be enough for the Buffalo to win. McDermott’s club will need to improve upon its season-to-date rankings in points per game (16.7, No. 25 in the NFL) and yards per game (285.3, No. 26). Going up against the Falcons won’t help those numbers.

Why Bet The Atlanta Falcons To Beat The Bills

Can Matt Ryan bounce back from a three pick performance against the Lions last week?

For the season, Ryan has passed for 867 yards, four touchdowns and three picks. Four different players have caught a TD passes from Ryan. WR Julio Jones isn’t one of those even with 265 recieving yards.

RB Devonta Freeman is averaging 4.4 yards per carry and has four touchdowns in three games.

Atlanta averages 29.0 points per game, which is the 5th best in the league.

If You Still Can’t Decide Who To Bet On

  • Bills are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win.
  • Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite.
  • Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win.

Bills Vs. Falcons Week 4 Betting Analysis

The Falcons rank fifth in the NFL with 29 points per game and the Bills are No. 1 on the opposite side of the ball with only 12.3 points allowed per game.

Atlanta has won five of the last six games at home, and they are 4-1 against Buffalo in the previous five games overall. But they haven’t been as good when the spread is so high. The Falcons are 3-7 ATS in their last ten games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0.

The Falcons will win, but will NOT cover 9.5-point spread.

Steelers at Ravens Spread & ATS Pick

A pair of 2-1 AFC North rivals face off for a leg up in the battle for the division crown when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the Baltimore Ravens. The Las Vegas NFL oddsmakers have installed the Steelers as 2.5-point favorites over the Ravens. Kick-off is this Sunday, October 1st at 1:00 PM ET on CBS from the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Both teams are also looking to bounce back from disappointing losses. The Ravens were embarrassed by the Jaguars 44-7 in London last week. In Chicago, the Steelers were stunned 23-17 in overtime by the Bears.

Why Bet The Pittsburgh Steelers To Beat The Ravens

WR Antonio Brown is the key to the Steelers offense with RB Le’Veon Bell struggling to get started this season after holding out. He’s averaging 3.5 yards per carry. QB Ben Roethlisberger has 31 touchdowns passes and 21 interceptions in 19 career games against Baltimore, going 10-9 over that stretch.

“If I play better in that game, I feel we win the game,” Roethlisberger said Wednesday. “If I play better in the first two weeks, then we’re going to score more points and have a productive offense and we don’t have to answer questions about why our offense isn’t where it is.”

Brown leads the NFL with 354 receiving yards but has only caught one touchdown. He caught ten passes for 110 yards and one TD last week against Chicago. Brown will face a Baltimore defense which allowed 227.0 passing yards per game. They ranked 19th defending the pass.

Pittsburgh is ranked third in the league in total defense and second against the pass.

Why Bet The Baltimore Ravens To Beat The Steelers

Even after losing shifty rusher Danny Woodhead, the Ravens offense is one of the best running the football. They average 142.3 rushing yards (4th) because they’re shifting away from QB Joe Flacco throwing the football.

A trio of rushers, Javorius Allen (43 car, 152 yards, 0 TDs), Terrance West (33 car, 128 yards, 2 TDs) and Alex Collins (16 car, 124 yards, 0 TDs), are powering this offense with QB Joe Flacco struggling.

The Baltimore QB missed all of training camp and the preseason after suffering a back injury and only began practicing shortly before the season began. Flacco played the worst game of his career last week. He completed eight of 18 pass attempts for a career-worst 28 yards with two interceptions against the Jaguars. Flacco finished with a passer rating of 12.0.

Pittsburgh allows 122.7 rushing yards per game. They are 22nd against the run after three weeks.

If You Still Can’t Decide Who To Bet On

  • Steelers are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a road favorite of 0.5-3.0.
  • Steelers are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite
  • Ravens are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.
  • Ravens are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. AFC.

Steelers Vs. Ravens Week 4 Betting Analysis

While the Steelers lead the all-time regular season series 22-20, the Ravens are 5-1 straight up and 4-2 against the spread in its last six games when playing at home against Pittsburgh.

Twelve of the past 18 matchups between Baltimore and Pittsburgh were decided by three points or fewer.

Pittsburgh hasn’t proven that they can win in Baltimore. Take the home team with the points.
