Miami Vs Atlanta Odds & Betting Analysis

Miami Vs Atlanta Odds & Betting Analysis

The Atlanta Falcons might be overlooking the Miami Dolphins with a tough three-game road trip on the horizon that includes stops in New England, New York, and Carolina. The Week 6 NFL betting odds favor the Falcons by 12.5-points.

Kick-off is this Sunday, October 15th at 1:00 PM ET on CBS from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Why Bet The Miami Dolphins To Beat The Falcons

The Jay Cutler experiment might be over after this weekend. It’s time for the Dolphins to give backup QB Matt Moore a fair shot. Miami is just averaging 10.3 points per game with Cutler under center. That’s the league’s worst number.

With Cutler or Moore leading the offense, the Dolphins need to commit to giving the ball to RB Jay Ajayi. The tailback rushed for 1272 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 games last season. Miami needs to feed Ajayi 20-30 touches a game if they want to win.

Why Bet The Atlanta Falcons To Beat The Dolphins

A bye week sure helps a banged up team. The Falcons are coming off of a bye and needed the two weeks to heal. WR Julio Jones (hip flexor), LB Vic Beasley Jr. (hamstring), S Ricardo Allen (concussion), and OT Ryan Schraeder (concussion) all practiced this week.

With Julio Jones back in the lineup, the Falcons can get back to business on offense. They struggled against Buffalo two weeks ago when they lost Jones. Julio is a mismatch outside the numbers. Miami is giving up 234.0 passing yards this season. I am betting Jones finds the end-zone for the first time this season.

If You Still Can’t Decide Who To Bet On

  • Dolphins are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win.
  • Dolphins are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games after allowing less than 250 total yards in their previous game
  • Falcons are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite.
  • Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week.

Dolphins Vs. Falcons Week 6 Betting Analysis

I don’t see a scenario where the Dolphins score enough points to keep up with the Falcons. Atlanta had the best offense in the NFL a year ago. They are loaded on offense and they are yet to hit mid-season form. Miami is 1-6-1 ATS in its last eight games when playing Atlanta. Take the Falcons to win and cover.

Pats Vs Jets NFL Week 6 Spread & ATS Pick

Pats Vs Jets NFL Week 6 Spread & ATS Pick

This is not the upside down. The New England Patriots and the NY Jets will be fighting for the AFC East crown this weekend when they meet in the first of two divisional matchups this season. The Week 6 NFL betting spread favors the Pats by 11-points over the Jets. Kick-off is this Sunday, October 15th at 1:00 PM ET on CBS from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Why Bet The New England Patriots To Beat The Jets

Tom Brady is the key to the Patriots dominance over the last decade. The future Hall of Famer leads the league with 1702 yards and 11 touchdowns. However, the offensive line needs to take care of their 40-year old quarterback. Brady, 40 now, has already been sacked 16 times and hit 28 this season after just 15 and 33, respectively, in all of 2016.

The big reason why Brady is taking the hits is he is holding the ball longer in order for Chris Hogan and Brandin Cooks to get open downfield. This is where Brady misses Julian Edelman.

Why Bet The NY Jets To Beat The Patriots

The Jets have beaten the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Cleveland Browns in consecutive weeks. They have allowed 13.3 points per game in those games and have clearly taken advantage of the soft spot in their calendar.

The offense hasn’t scored more than 23 points in a game this season. To win this game, the Jets will have to lean on their defense. The Jets forced the Browns to turn the ball over three times last week. As a theam they have seven takeaways in 5 games, putting them in the top ten for the stat.

If You Still Can’t Decide Who To Bet On

  • Patriots are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games as a favorite.
  • Patriots are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up win.
  • Jets are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
  • Jets are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in October.

Patriots Vs. NY Jets Week 6 Betting Analysis

The Patriots are averaging 29.6 points per game this season. Only the Chiefs and the Rams are averaging more. Brady has a 23-7 career record against the Jets. He has thrown 44 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. New England can put lots of points, but I can’t see the Jets matching them point per point. Take the Patriots to cover the spread.

Packers Vs Vikings Line & Betting Advice

Packers Vs Vikings Line & Betting Advice

The Green Bay Packers are riding a three-game winning streak thanks to more Aaron Rodgers heroics. But can the stout Minnesota Vikings defense take the Packers down a notch when the two teams face off in an NFC North duel? The Week 6 NFL line favors Green Bay by a field-goal over Minnesota.

Kick-off is this Sunday, October 15th at 1:00 PM ET on FOX from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Why Bet The Green Bay Packers To Beat The Vikings

This is Aaron Rodgers world, and we should just sit back and enjoy the show. He has thrown seven touchdowns and zero interceptions in the Packers last two wins over the Bears and the Cowboys.

It’s not a surprise Rodgers has a winning record against all the teams in the NFC North. He has won 12 of 18 career games against Minnesota while throwing 39 touchdowns and just six interceptions. His 112.1 career passer rating against the Vikes is the best against any of the divisional opponents.

Why Bet The Minnesota Vikings To Beat The Packers

With QB Sam Bradford banged up, the Vikings won’t win this game by matching the Packers score by score. Their only chance is to limit Rodgers’ time on the field by extending drives with their run game.

The Vikings own the 11th best rushing attack in the NFL, averaging 118.2 rushing yards per game. With rookie Dalvin Cook out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, the task falls on the legs of Jerick McKinnon and Latavius Murray. Last week Minnesota as a team, the Vikings ran for 159 yards against Da Bears. Last week, the Cowboys posted 163 rushing yards on the Packers last Sunday. The Vikings’ need to follow that game plan.

If You Still Can’t Decide Who To Bet On

  • Packers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite.
  • Packers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
  • Vikings are 24-8 ATS in their last 32 home games.
  • Vikings are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

Packers Vs. Vikings Week 6 Betting Analysis

I am not betting agasint Aaron Rodgers right now. Minnesota is 3-11-1 SU in its last 15 games when playing Green Bay. Give me the Packers to cover the spread.
