Warriors Vs Timberwolves Final Score Prediction

NBA Expert Picks Feb 12 – 18

With the start of a brand new week on hand and the annual NBA All-Star festivities set to get underway this coming weekend, it’s time for another round of NBA picks of the week.

Minnesota hosts Houston on Tuesday night in a matchup of Western Conference title hopefuls while Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder will host LeBron James and the revamped Cleveland Cavaliers in a nationally-televised affair the same evening.

Last but not least, Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics will look to handle their business against a Los Angeles Clippers team that has also recently undergone a significant makeover.

NBA Expert Picks Feb 12th – 18th

Houston at Minnesota
When: Tuesday, Feb 13, 2018 at 7:00 PM ET
Where: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN
TV: FSN

Analysis: While Minnesota has gone 22-6 at home this season, the young T-Wolves has dropped two straight and will host a Houston Rockets team that is on fire, having won seven straight games heading into the new week. The Timberwolves have lost their last two games against Cleveland and Chicago by a grand total of three combined points, so they’re clearly not playing bad basketball right now. Still, I don’t see any way they keep up with a Houston Rockets team that hung 130 points on Denver on Friday night and looks like they’ve got some serious plans of competing for the Western Conference championship this season. James Harden, Chris Paul and now, Clint Capela are all playing out of their respective minds and Houston simply has too much offensive firepower.

Pick: Houston 125 Minnesota 114

Cleveland at Oklahoma City
When: Tuesday, Feb 13, 2018 at 7:00 PM ET
Where: Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City, OK
TV: TNT

Analysis: The Cavaliers looked fantastic on Sunday after their roster overhaul a few days earlier. LeBron James and company quite literally blasted the Boston Celtics off the court in their 121-99 rout to deliver a huge statement to the conference-leading Celtics. However, I’m thinking they’re going to have a much tougher way to go against Russell Westbrook and an Oklahoma City Thunder team that gets up for big games against elite opponents. The Cavs are just 13-15 on the road this season and I don’t think they’ll have an answer for the unstoppable Russell Westbrook in this one, especially seeing as how Oklahoma City wants to get rid of the bad taste left in their mouths for the loss to the Lakers on Thursday night!

Pick: Oklahoma City 106 Cleveland 102

L.A. Clippers at Boston
When: Wednesday, Feb 14, 2018 8:00 PM ET
Where: TD Garden, Boston, MA
TV: ESPN

Analysis: While Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics got smacked around like a bunch of middle schoolers in their humbling 121-99 loss to Cleveland on Saturday, I like them to bounce back in a big way against a Clippers team that got completely humbled by Philadelphia 112-98 on Saturday. The Celtics play excellent defense more often than not and they’ll want to get back in the win column in a big way after getting smacked senseless by the Cavs on Sunday. Los Angeles is just 12-14 on the road this season and Boston is semi-desperate!

Pick: Boston 105 Clippers 99

NCAA Basketball Free Picks Feb 12 – 18

With the top three teams in the country all suffering losses this past week, college basketball bettors everywhere want to know, where the college basketball betting value lays. Thankfully, that’s where I come in with my trio of college basketball picks of the week!

2018 NCAA Basketball Picks Feb 12th – 18th

No. 1 Villanova (23-2) at Providence (16-9)
When: Wed. Feb 14, 2018 7:00 PM ET
Where: Dunkin Donuts Center, Providence, RI
TV: FS1

Analysis: Villanova may have been stunned by St. John’s on Wednesday, but the Wildcats looked absolutely fantastic in beating a very good Butler team on Saturday and now they look like absolute locks to beat a Providence team that has lost three of its last five and got smacked senseless by DePaul on Saturday. Nova has a huge matchup against No. 5 Xavier this coming Saturday and they will simply not lose this game to the inferior Friars!

Pick: Villanova 82 Providence 66

Texas (15-10) at No. 17 Oklahoma (16-8)
When: Sat. Feb 17, 2018 11:00 AM ET
Where: Lloyd Noble Center, Norman, OK
TV: ESPN

Analysis: Texas has lost two straight and three of their last four games overall and got pounded by TCU on Saturday. While Trae Young and the Oklahoma Sooners have dropped three straight including their 88-80 loss to Iowa State on Saturday, they’re the pick to get the win in this contest on Saturday simply because they’re playing at home. Young has needed some help the past few games and I believe he’ll get some in this matchup against a Texas team the Sooners are simply better than.

Pick: Oklahoma 82 Texas 74

Alabama (16-9) at No. 24 Kentucky (17-8)
When: Sat. Feb 17, 2018 1:00 PM ET
Where: Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY
TV: CBS

Analysis: Alabama has been wildly inconsistent in alternating wins and losses over their last six games but the Crimson Tide managed to pound Tennessee senseless in their 78-50 win on Saturday night. Kentucky has lost three straight for the first time under John Calipari and suffered a 61-59 loss to Tennessee along the way. Still, I’m thinking sheer desperation, combined with the fact that they’re playing at home, tells me the loaded, but inexperienced Wildcats will get their act together for this contest to get the win against an Alabama team that is also young and lacking experience.

Pick: Kentucky 79 Alabama 75

NHL Free Picks Feb 12-18

NHL Free Picks Feb 12-18

Can the expansion Vegas Golden Knights keep performing like one of the top Stanley Cup title contenders despite being a first-year franchise?

Will the Winnipeg Jets remain a legitimate cup contender after finally falling out of first place in the Central Division?

Last but not least, will the two-time defending champion Pittsburgh Penguins continue to play at a high level as they steamroll toward the postseason in the hopes of winning a third straight Stanley Cup title?

NHL Free Picks Feb 12th-18th

Edmonton (23-27-4) at Vegas (36-14-4)
When: Thursday, Feb 15, 2018 7:00 PM ET
Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV
TV: AT&TSN

Analysis: There simply hasn’t been a more disappointing team in the league than Edmonton this season. Despite entering the 2017-18 campaign as one of the top Stanley Cup favorites, Connor McDavid and the Oilers have floundered at every turn and hit the new week riding a three-game losing streak. On the other hand, despite their status as an expansion team the Vegas Knights have played at a high level all season long and look ‘super legitimate’ at this point of the season. With the best home record in all of hockey (19-3-2), the Knights are the easy pick to cruise to victory in this Thursday night matchup!

Pick: Vegas 4 Edmonton 1

Colorado (29-21-4) at Winnipeg (32-15-9)
When: Friday, Feb 16, 2018 7:00 PM ET
Where: Bell MTS Place, Winnipeg, MB, CA
TV: ALT

Analysis: Colorado and Winnipeg have both lost two straight heading into the new week, but for this Friday night matchup, the Jets are the easy pick to get the win, seeing as how they’ve posted a stunning 20-5-2 mark at home this season that ranks as the second-best home mark in hockey. The Jets are ranked a stellar sixth in scoring (3/2 gpg) and seventh in goals allowed (2.7 gpg) and that’s just too good for an Avalanche defense that ranks 19th in goals allowed.

Pick: Winnipeg 4 Colorado 2

Toronto (33-19-5) at Pittsburgh (31-22-4)
When: Sat. Feb 17, 2018 7:00 PM ET
Where: PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh, PA
TV: AT&TSN

Analysis: Toronto has picked up the pace very nicely over the last two weeks by going 8-2 over their last 10 while riding a three-game winning streak into the new week that includes a 6-3 blowout of Ottawa on Saturday. Pittsburgh has also been playing at a high level for the last three weeks despite suffering a 4-3 shootout loss to Dallas on Friday night. For this Saturday night showdown, I’m going to advise you to play the Over, whatever that figure is. Both of these teams can light the lamp with the best of them and we should see more than our fair share of goals in this one, With the Pens going 20-7-1 at home, I think they get the narrow win!

Pick: Pittsburgh 5 Toronto 4
