Who Are The Experts Picking To Win The 2018 NBA?

The Warriors (-130) are the Las Vegas Oddsmakers NBA Title pick

The Golden State Warriors have the talent, the rings, the mojo, but are they hungry enough for a title? After two titles in three straight trips to the NBA Finals in the last three years, no one would blame the Warriors for phoning this one in.

"Our guys have rings," Kerr told reporters. "That’s a good position to be in."

"We’re going to go in here knowing we’re the defending champs, knowing we got a couple of championships here the last few years," Kerr added. "Let’s go get another one. It’s a nice feeling to have and to go into a series with."

The Warriors road to the 2018 NBA Finals includes a huge beard sized speed bump. Golden State was the betting favorite in all three meetings with Houston this season. That is not the case in Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Western Conference Final.

The Rockets (+247) are the sharp 2018 NBA Title pick

Houston signing Chris Paul set the Rockets on a collision course with the Warriors for the Western Conference crown. Coach Mike D’Antoni has empowered his two elite guards (Paul and James Harden) to create offense off the dribble at every opportunity. Both all-stars space the floor aggressively leading to efficient isolation scoring.

Houston is a 2-point favorite in Game 1 of the series, which tips-off on Monday. If the NBA betting spread holds, it will be the 7th game this season when the Warriors go into a game as the underdog. The Warriors lost five of their six games as underdogs during the regular season.

The Cavaliers (+552) are the public’s NBA Title pick

After a rollercoaster of a regular season, the Cleveland Cavaliers were left for dead. Then Lebronto killed the title dreams of a nation and proclaimed himself King of the North! The four-game sweep of the top-seeded Raptors have turned the Cavs into the popular public pick to win the 2018 NBA title.

The Celtics (+2070) are the long shot NBA Title pick

The Boston Celtics had a dream season last year with a surprising playoff run. During the off-season, the Celtics brain trust added two all-stars. First signing the most coveted free-agent in the league, Gordon Hayward. Then giving up peanuts for disgruntled Cav Kyrie Irving. The 2018 NBA Title was in the bag. Until both new additions were lost for the season.

Hayward had a horrific injury in his first game as a Celtic ending his season. Irving led the team in scoring while dealing with the fallout from his 2015 knee surgery. Both likely won’t be back on the floor until next season. The Celtics are a true underdog!
