Eagles vs Giants Spread, Moneyline & Over/Under Odds NFL Week 6

Eagles vs Giants Spread, Moneyline & Over/Under Odds NFL Week 6

Before the season began, this was a marquee Thursday Night Football game. Carson Wentz and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles facing Odell Beckham, Eli Manning, Saquan Barkley, and the New York Giants.

The Eagles are 2-3 while the Giants are 1-4. Both teams are likely to miss the playoffs but is there a team you should bet on in this tilt?

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants Spread, Moneyline & Over/Under Odds NFL Week 6

NFL oddsmakers have installed Philadelphia as 3-point favorites to win. If you are betting on a straight up winner, the Eagles pay $100 on a $155 moneyline bet and the Giants pay $135 on a $100 bet. The game total is 44-points.

What: NFL Week 6
Who: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants
Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford
When: 8:20 PM ET, Thursday, October 11th, 2018
Watch: FOX/NFL Network
Stream: Amazon Prime
Spread: Eagles -3
Moneyline: Eagles -155/Giants +135
Total: 44

Why Bet The Eagles To Beat The Giants

A visit to the Big Apple to face the Giants is an excellent cure for the 2-3 Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl hangover.

A year after scoring 24+ points in 12 games last season, the Eagles have scored fewer than 24 points in each of their first five games. Moreover, Philly’s three losses have been by six, three and two points, respectively.

Week 6 marks Carson Wentz’s fourth game back from his 2017 season-ending knee injury. He should have shaken the rust off by now. RB Jay Ajayi joined fellow rushers Darren Sproles (hamstring) and Corey Clement (quad) on the injury report today. Reports suggest Ajayi tore his ACL Sunday. Expect Wentz to throw early and often.

Why Bet The Giants To Beat The Eagles

The New York Giants finally broke out of their offensive funk by putting up 31-points against a tough Panthers defense. If not for a 63-yard field with one second remaining on Sunday, the G-Men would be 2-3 instead of 1-4.

Three of the Giants’ four losses have been by seven points or less. That makes covering the 3-point spread an exciting proposition.

Eagles vs. Giants NFL Week 6 Betting Predictions

The Eagles are 2-3 and winless on the road.

The Giants are 1-4 and winless at home.

Both teams have lost two games in a row.

The Eagles are 14-6 ATS in their last 20 head-to-head games against the New York Giants. That ATS record is 8-3 favoring Philly when they play in New York.

All NFL betting trends point to an Eagles win, but can they cover the one field-goal spread as road favorites? No! I am betting on the Giants with the points.

Expert Picks NFL Week 6

Early NFL Week 6 odds are out and I have a trio of betting picks to boost your sports betting bankrool. Let’s get started.

Expert Picks NFL Week 6

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
When: Thursday, Oct. 11 at 8:20 pm ET
Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
TV: FOX/Amazon Prime
Odds: Philadelphia -2.5

Analysis: Although the New York Giants still have only a single victory on their record, they managed to rally to only lose by 2 points, 31-33, to the Carolina Panthers in Week 5. The Giants should put up a strong fight against the Eagles in Week 6.

It won’t be enough, though. Philly’s got their backs to the wall after losing 21-23 straight up to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. The Eagles offense never got on track against the Vikings in Week 5.

It should versus the Giants. NYG allows 25.6 points per game while giving up over 124 rushing yards per on average. Philly’s offense should get well against the Giants on Thursday.

Pick: Philadelphia Eagles

Seattle Seahawks at Oakland Raiders
When: Sunday, Oct. 14 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Wembley Stadium, London, UK
Odds: Seattle -3

Analysis: Up until the fourth quarter in the Seahawks 31-33 loss to the L.A. Rams on Oct. 7, it sure appeared as if the old Seattle Seahawks were back. Seattle had held the highest scoring team in the NFL to only 24 points.

However, the Rams outscored the Seahawks 9-0 in the fourth. Seattle’s record fell to 2-3. No worries if you’re a Seattle fan because the Seahawks should climb back to .500 this Sunday at Wembley Stadium after they thrash the Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders are one of the worst team in the NFL. Seattle should beat Oakland by at least 10 points.

Pick: Seattle Seahawks

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons
When: Sunday, Oct. 14 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, BA
Odds: Atlanta -3.5

Analysis: Yes, Atlanta’s a bad football team. What’s surprising is that we can’t blame offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and quarterback Matt Ryan. Atlanta’s been great at moving the football.

The defense is horrible, though. At least, the Falcons should pick up another win and cover in Week 6 against a team with a worse pass defense, the worst in the NFL, in the Tampa Bay Bucs. The ATL gets a much-needed win and cover.

Pick: Atlanta Falcons

Moneyline Upset Picks College Football Week 7

The quickest way to boost your sports betting bankroll is to win a handful of moneyline upset bets. And you are in luck. I have a trio of bankroll boosting moneyline upset picks for College Football Week 7 action.

Moneyline Upset Picks College Football Week 7

#2 Georgia -270 at #13 LSU +230
When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 3:30 pm ET
Where: Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge, LA

Analysis: Georgia’s one of the top teams in the nation. LSU was one of the top teams in the nation until Florida beat them in College Football Week 6. Can LSU possibly cover the spread against a tough Georgia team?

Because LSU is 8-1 ATS in their last 9 conference games, they absolutely can cover the spread on Saturday. But, that’s not where the real money is. Yes, the Tigers lost in Week 6. So, what? LSU has beaten Miami and Auburn this season.

The Tigers should get their offense going against a Georgia defense that hasn’t played with the same speed the past couple of weeks that it played with earlier in the season. LSU can beat the Bulldogs on the moneyline.

Moneyline Upset Pick: LSU +230

#7 Washington -170 at #17 Oregon +150
When: Saturday, Sep. 13 at 3:30 pm ET
Where: Autzen Stadium, Eugene, OR
Odds: Washington -3

Analysis: Washington’s climbed its way back into the Top 10 even though the Huskies haven’t been great at covering spreads. Washington hopes that its defense can stand up to Oregon’s offense on Sep. 13.

It’s not likely that happens because the Ducks average 45.6 points per game. Oregon bounced back from their overtime loss to the Stanford Cardinal by dominating California 42-24 in Week 6. The Ducks should take that momentum into this game against Washington, who barely beat UCLA 31-24 in Week 6.

Oregon takes it straight up.

Moneyline Upset Pick: Oregon +150

#15 Wisconsin +245 at #12 Michigan -290
When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 pm ET
Where: Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, MI

Analysis: Michigan’s defense ranks first in college football in yards allowed per game. It only allows 230.5 total yards per. Wisconsin’s defense is almost as good as Michigan’s, though.

The Badgers only allow 16 points per. They only allow 349.8 total yards per. Wisconsin’s offense is better than Michigan’s. The Badgers can pull off the upset in what should be a low-scoring game.

Moneyline Upset Pick: Wisconsin +245
