Betting on a college football game’s total final score is an exciting way to boost your sports betting bankroll. I have a trio of over/under total points scored picks that you can cash in on this week.
Over/Under Game Total Picks College Football Week 7
#14 Florida at Vanderbilt
When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Vanderbilt Stadium, Nashville, TN
Analysis: Florida’s played like they’re on a mission since the 16-27 loss to Kentucky on Sep. 8. The Gators’ defense hasn’t allowed a single team to score more than 21 points against it in 4 straight.
Florida held Colorado State to 10, Tennessee to 21, Mississippi State to 6, and LSU to 19. Florida’s defense should shut down Vanderbilt’s offense. Vanderbilt’s defense only allows 24 points per game.
This one should go under.
Pick: Under 51
Baylor at #9 Texas
When: Saturday, Sep. 13 at 3:30 pm ET
Where: Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, Austin, TX
Analysis: Texas should have their offense rocking against a Baylor squad that allows 32.3 points per game on average. Baylor’s so bad defensively that Oklahoma scored 66 against the Bears and offensively challenged Kansas State scored 34.
Texas rocked the Oklahoma Sooners with 48 points in Week 6. Even if the Longhorns play close to perfect defense, Baylor should score over 20 points. Texas could score 50 or more.
I like the over.
Pick: Over 61½
Missouri at #1 Alabama
When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:0 pm ET
Where: Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL
Analysis: No defense in college football can stop the Alabama Crimson Tide offense. Alabama averages 56 points per game. Because your defense can’t stop Bama’s offense, your best hope of staying close to Bama is to score with them.
Easier said than done, but if any team can score with Bama, it’s Missouri. The Tigers average 39 points per game. Even against a tough defense like Georgia’s, Mizzou scored 29. Missouri scored 35 in a 35-37 loss to South Carolina in Week 6.
All signs point to over the total. Both Bama and Mizzou play in over games, anyhow. The over is 4-0-1 in Missouri’s games this season. It’s 5-1-0 in Alabama games this season.
Pick: Over 75
