Over/Under Odds Picks NFL Week 8

Philadelphia Eagles vs Jacksonville Jaguars
When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 9:30 am ET
Where: Wembley Stadium, London, England
TV: NFL
Over/Under Total: 41

Analysis: Jaguars’ offense is putrid. Jacksonville can’t rush the football. They can’t throw the football. It got so bad against the Houston Texans in Week 7 that before the first half, the Jags benched Blake Bortles for backup Cody Kessler. That didn’t work either. Kessler threw a pick while Jacksonville could only score 7 points.

In a way, Philly played worst. The Eagles ran out to a 10-0 lead against Carolina. For some reason, Philadelphia could only score a single TD after that. Eagles ended up with 17 points in a 17-21 loss.

Neither one of these teams likes to score points while both have excellent defenses. This should go under by a lot.

Pick: Under

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers
When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA
TV: CBS
Over/Under Total: 50.5

Analysis: Pitt got a bye in Week 7. They face a tough team in the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. If the Browns hope to win, Hue Jackson and Todd Haley have to take the training wheels off of quarterback Baker Mayfield. When Mayfield’s allowed to create, he’s already one of the tougher quarterbacks in the league to defend against.

Mayfield figures to throw with abandon in this game because Steelers will score a lot of points. Pittsburgh should have no trouble reaching the 30 to 35 mark. Cleveland can score at least 24, which means this goes over.

Pick: Over

Indianapolis Colts at Oakland Raiders
When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 4:05 pm ET
Where: Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA
TV: CBS
Over/Under Total: 51

Analysis: Raiders should have a plan to exploit the Colts on Sunday. John Gruden had a whole week off to prepare for Indianapolis. He had better have a plan to take apart the Colts’ defense.

Indianapolis is in a groove after hanging 37 onto the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Andrew Luck has thrown 4 touchdowns in his last couple of games. His TD/INT ratio is 8/3. Luck should decimate a bad Raiders’ defense.

Colts might score 42 points in this game, meaning all Oakland must do is score 10.

Pick: Over

Upset Moneyline Picks NFL Week 8

Upset Moneyline Picks NFL Week 8

Do you need to kick-start your sports betting bankroll? Then you have come to the right place. I have a trio of bankroll boosting upset moneyline picks for NFL Week 8 action. Let’s get started.

Upset Moneyline Picks NFL Week 8

Seattle Seahawks +145 at Detroit Lions -165
When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Ford Field, Detroit, MI
TV: FOX
Spread: Detroit -2.5

Analysis: Early betting implies Lions’ are overvalued in this spot. The spread should go to Detroit -3.5, or even -4, once the public’s done betting. After that, some pro bettors will take the betting line down from -4 to -3. That’s where it figures to settle.

Seattle heads to Detroit off a bye. They have the advantage of planning specifically for this game while the Lions had to travel to Miami in Week 7.

Seahawks got their rushing attack going in the two games before the bye. If they can rush it against the Lions, they’ll have success. Seattle’s the team to back on the moneyline.

Week 8 Moneyline Upset Pick: Seattle Seahawks +145

Green Bay Packers +335 at L.A. Rams -420
When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA
TV: FOX
Spread: L.A. Rams -9

Analysis: Spread’s gone up a point already with Rams opening at -8 and now at -9. Los Angeles looked awesome when putting a beating on the San Francisco 49ers. They beat the 49ers by 29 points.

Los Angeles must step it up to do the same thing to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Green Bay has an offense that can hang with the Rams’ offense. As great as Los Angeles has looked, Packers got a week off, which means Green Bay will have something special planned for the Rams’ defense.

L.A. drops their first game this season on Oct. 28.

Week 8 Moneyline Upset Pick: Green Bay Packers +335

New Orleans Saints -103 at Minnesota Vikings -117
When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 8:20 pm ET
Where: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
TV: NBC
Odds: Minnesota -1.5

Analysis: The line could go either way, but the guess here is that Minnesota ends up a -2.5 to -3 favorite by kick-off. If the Vikings do end up as a -3 favorite, New Orleans is a massive play on the moneyline.

The Saints rallied to beat Baltimore 24-23 in Week 7. New Orleans had help, Justin Tucker missed the tying extra point, but no matter how the Saints won, they won. New Orleans should beat Minnesota straight up.

New Orleans has gotten better week to week. They already showed they go on the road and hang 24 onto a great defense. Saints win.

Week 8 Moneyline Upset Pick: New Orleans Saints -103

Expert ATS Picks NFL Week 8

Expert ATS Picks NFL Week 8

As we head into the midpoint of the 2018 NFL season I have a trio of bankroll boosting ATS expert picks for NFL Week 8 betting action. Let’s get started!

Expert ATS Picks NFL Week 8

Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans
When: Thursday, Oct. 25 at 8:20 pm ET
Where: NRG Stadium, Houston, TX
TV: FOX/NFL
Odds: Houston -7

Analysis: Miami couldn’t keep the Detroit Lions from scoring 32 points against them in Week 8. That’s the reason so many NFL bettors already are pounding the Texans at -7. But, the Dolphins are a better team than people realize.

Although Miami had trouble keeping Detroit from scoring, it doesn’t mean they’ll have trouble against Houston. Texans’ defense looked good in Week 7 because it faced a horrible Jacksonville offense. It won’t have as much success containing a Miami offense with decent skill players.

Dolphins shouldn’t beat Houston straight up. They’ll keep it close against the Texans, though, closer than 7 points.

Week 8 ATS Expert Pick: Miami Dolphins

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals
When: Sunday, Oct. 28 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ
TV: FOX
Odds: Arizona pk

Analysis: This game’s a pick. It shouldn’t be. On paper, San Francisco looks like the better team, but they really aren’t. The 49ers couldn’t hang with the L.A. Rams while in the last game between these two, Arizona dominated 28-18.

If quarterback Josh Rosen hadn’t thrown 3 interceptions, 2 of which ended up pick sixes, the Cards might have stuck with the Denver Broncos in Week 7. Arizona’s defense played well in that game.

San Fran’s offense won’t score enough point against the much better defense in the matchup. This should be easy money for those who back the Cardinals.

Week 8 ATS Expert Pick: Arizona Cardinals

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
When: Monday, Oct. 29 at 8:15 pm ET
Where: New Era Field, Buffalo, NY
TV: ESPN
Odds: New England -13.5

Analysis: Sometimes it’s best to just go with what we see. In Patriots at Bills, we see one team that should score at will, New England, against another team that will have trouble scoring, Buffalo.

Bills could only manage 7 points against Indianapolis in a 5-37 loss in Week 7. Buffalo gets a few points in this due to playing at home, but it shouldn’t matter. The line’s less than 14, which means Patriots cover.

Week 8 ATS Expert Pick: New England Patriots
