Must Bet College Basketball Games Feb 11-17

#24 Maryland at #7 Michigan
When: Saturday, Feb. 16 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Crisler Center, Ann Arbor, MI
TV: FOX

Analysis: The Maryland Terrapins are 2-3 straight up in their last 5. They’ve also gone 2-3 against the spread in those last 5 games. The Terrapins are a very good 6-2 ATS in their away games this season, though.

Although Maryland’s been great ATS in away games this season, they could find it difficult versus the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. Still, one of the favorites to win the National Championship, Michigan has been on fire both SU and ATS.

The Wolverines are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last 5. They’ve gone 4-1 ATS in their last 5 at home. Maryland will put up a fight but Michigan should prevail both on the moneyline and against the spread.

Pick: Michigan

NC State at #2 Duke
When: Saturday, Feb. 16 at 6:00 pm ET
Where: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, NC
TV: ESPN

Analysis: Duke took on Virginia in what many believed was the biggest game of the year so far. Not only did Duke win SU, they pummeled UVA 81-71. The Blue Devils are now 21-2 SU and 15-8 ATS.

NC State has a winning 4-3 ATS road record, but they’re 3-7 ATS in their last 10. The Wolfpack will fight for about 10 minutes in this one before Duke, like they did in the 91-61 beat down of St. John’s, takes over.

The Blue Devils should cover no matter what the spread is.

Pick: Duke

#1 Tennessee at #5 Kentucky
When: Saturday, Feb. 16 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY
TV: ESPN

Analysis: Saturday’s top matchup has Tennessee heading to Rupp Arena to battle the Kentucky Wildcats. Tennessee remains number one after beating Missouri 71-60 and Florida 73-61 this past week. The Volunteers have a 13-8-1 overall ATS record. They’re better against the spread in away games, going 5-1 ATS this season.

Kentucky has a 14-9 overall ATS record. They’re 7-6 ATS in their home games this season. That doesn’t tell the whole story, though. The Wildcats have been on an incredible run, going 8-0 ATS in their last 8.

UK will take some wind out of Tennessee’s sales on Saturday with a win and cover.

Pick: Kentucky

Must Watch NBA Games Feb 11-17

Must Watch NBA Games Feb 11-17

The NBA is about to head into the all-star break and if you are looking to boost your sports betting bankroll then I have a trio of NBA must watch and must bet games for the week of February 11th to the 17th.

Must Watch NBA Games Feb 11-17

Houston Rockets at Minnesota Timberwolves
When: Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN
TV: ESPN

Analysis: James “The Beard” Harden, the reigning NBA MVP, and the Houston Rockets head to Minnesota to battle the T’Wolves on Valentine’s Day eve this Wednesday. The Rockets have a 10-17 ATS record in away games. They’ve been really bad ATS recently, going 2-5 in their last 7.

Minnesota’s got a winning 14-13 ATS record. The Timberwolves are leaning on Mr. Do Everything Karl-Anthony Towns to stay competitive in games. Towns was so good versus the Pelicans on Feb. 8 that even though Minnesota lost SU, they won ATS.

However, the T’Wolves are 1-5 ATS in their last 6. They should cover on Wednesday, though, because Houston will be overplayed.

Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves

Golden State Warriors at Portland Trailblazers
When: Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 pm ET
Where: Moda Center, Portland, OR
TV: ESPN

Analysis: Golden State is back to their straight-up winning ways. That’s bad news for their opponents. However, they’re also back to their ATS losing ways. The most overbet team in the NBA has gone 1-3 ATS in their last 4.

The Warriors beat the Trailblazers 115-105 in the last matchup, but Portland is a much better team against the spread at home than they are on the road. The Trailblazers have a 20-11 home ATS record.

There’s no way Golden State doesn’t tip off the favorite. That makes Portland the play against the spread.

Pick: Portland Trailblazers

Oklahoma City Thunder at New Orleans Pelicans
When: Thursday, Feb. 14 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, LA
TV: TNT

Analysis: The Thunder have signaled that they’re a real contender to win the NBA Championship this season. Since January started, OKC is 10-1 SU in their last 11. They went 9-2 ATS in those 11 games.

New Orleans failed to trade Anthony Davis, but probably won’t push him too hard. After all, he’s their most important player heading into the offseason. An injured AD won’t command nearly as much as a one-hundred percent AD.

The Pelicans are 5-2 ATS in their last 7, but they’re hard to back against the spread knowing Davis might only clock 30 minutes. Oklahoma City has more to play for. They’ll win and cover.

Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder

NHL Picks Feb 11-17

Dallas Stars at Tampa Bay Lightning
When: Thursday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 pm ET
Where: Amalie Arena, Tampa, FL
TV: ESPN+

Analysis: Dallas has climbed to third place in the Central Division behind the Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets. The Stars had been on a 5 match winning streak before back-to-back losses: 2-3 in overtime against Nashville and 2-3 on the road versus Arizona. Dallas lost 0-2 the last time they battled Tampa Bay and have a 10-14-3-0 away record.

Tampa remains the best team in NHL. The Lightning are 21-5-1-1 in home games. After losing back-to-back, 2-3 to Vegas in a shootout, and 0-1 to St. Louis in overtime, they beat Pittsburgh 5-4 on Feb. 9.

The Lightning should easily handle the Stars. Consider the puck line if you don’t want to lay the odds.

Pick: Tampa Bay Lightning

Toronto Maple Leafs at Vegas Golden Knights
When: Thursday, Feb. 14 at 10:00 pm ET
Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV
TV: ESPN+

Analysis: The Maple Leafs are on a roll heading into the week. They’ve gone 5-1 in their last 6 with the only loss a 2-3 overtime game on the road against Detroit on Feb. 1. Toronto last battled Vegas on Nov. 6. They beat the Golden Knights 3-1 as a -130 favorite.

Vegas has a 16-7-2-1 record at home. But, the Golden Knights haven’t played well, going 2-5 SU in their last 7 heading into the week. Also, Vegas must battle Nashville on Saturday and that game means a lot more to the Golden Knights than this cross-conference matchup.

Toronto has a chance to win as a slight road dog.

Pick: Toronto Maple Leafs

Nashville Predators at Vegas Golden Knights
When: Saturday, Feb. 16 at 10:00 pm ET
Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV
TV: ESPN+

Analysis: Nashville battles Vegas on the road on Feb. 16 hoping for the same outcome as when they last took on the Golden Knights. The Predators beat Vegas 2-1 as a -140 favorite.

Vegas should be much sharper in this Saturday game than they will be in their Thursday game. Expect the Golden Knights to show up big time. Nashville’s 15-10-3-1 away, though. The Predators will go off at overlay odds and might be under played. Backing Nashville to get it done.

Pick: Nashville Predators
