Odds & Pick GGG vs Canelo

Odds & Pick GGG vs Canelo

After the ridiculousness that was Mayweather vs McGregor, boxing fans finally get what they’ve been clamoring for. On Sept. 16 Gennady Golovkin, known as Triple G, battles Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. The winner is destined to be crowned the pound for pound best fighter in the world. The fight takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gennady Golovkin is 37 and 0. He’s won 33 of his 37 bouts via knockout. Canelo Alvarez is 49-1-1. Alvarez has won 34 of his 49 bouts via KO. Alvarez’s only loss was to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

How To Bet The GGG vs Canelo Boxing Fight

What: Gennady Golovkin (37-0-0) vs Canelo Alvarez (49-1-1)
When: Saturday, September 16, 2017
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Where: Las Vegas
Stadium: T-Mobile Arena
Odds: Gennady Golovkin -150 vs Canelo Alvarez +130
Watch: HBO PPV
Stream: HBO PPV

Bet on Canelo Alvarez +125 because…

Canelo has fought the very best fighters of his generation. He’s beaten all of them except for Floyd Mayweather Jr. Canelo fought Floyd in 2014. Alvarez has gotten much better since losing to Mayweather. The list of opponents that Alvarez has beaten include:  Erislandy Lara, Amir Khan, Miguel Cotto, and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Bet on Gennady Golovkin -155 because…

Golovkin is the most feared natural middleweight in the world. He has power in both hands. He’s got a rock for a chin. He’s arguably the best pound for pound fighter in the world before taking on Canelo Alvarez.

GGG vs Canelo Expert Pick & Final Fight Prediction

Talk about an anticipated fight. Fight fans and bettors are all over GGG vs Canelo. Why not? Unlike Mayweather vs McGregor, Canelo versus GGG is a boxing match on par with Duran versus Leonard or Hagler versus Hearns.

Both are old school fighters that are true boxers. Money is nice. But, these two are craftsmen. They’re students of the game a la the very best of all time. They’re who Mayweather was before fighting Conor.

Who wins in a battle between 2 of the best in the world? Triple G, Gennady Golovkin. I love Canelo. I mean that.

He’s one of my favorite boxers around right now, but Gennady Golovkin is the much bigger man. He’s not only bigger, but he can cut off the ring. The problem that Canelo is going to have in this fight is one of style.

Canelo is usually the aggressor. Being aggressive versus Gennady every time leads to disaster. Sure, Canelo has beaten Lara, Khan, and Cotto. Of the 3, only Lara is still in his prime.

Gennady is undefeated for a reason. Even when facing a bigger opponent in Daniel Jacobs in his last, Triple G found a way to get it done. This should be an excellent fight with both guys having moments of brilliance.

In the end, I predict Gennady’s power gets to Canelo. I am betting on a KO win by GGG in Round 11.

Latest McGregor Vs Mayweather Odds & Pick

The biggest fight since the Muhammad Ali set foot in the ring will take place this weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hype for the one-of-a-kind mega fight between former top pound-for-pound boxer Floyd Mayweather and loudmouth UFC champion Conor McGregor is reaching the boiling point. The main card is scheduled for this Saturday, August 26th at 9:00PM ET.

Before the bout was officially scheduled, the early boxing betting odds listed Mayweather as a -2500 favorite, and McGregor as a +1100 underdog.

Why Bet Conor McGregor To Beat Floyd Mayweather

Brash street fighter Conor McGregor isn’t expected to leave his first professional boxing match a winner this weekend. If the UFC lightweight champ somehow upsets undefeated Floyd Mayweather, sports bettors worldwide will rejoice as an enormous number of tickets have come in on the Irishman. Some estimates are as high as 90 percent.

McGregor is a striking specialist who’s 21-3 with 18 knockouts and has never been knocked out. His endurance will be tested by Mayweather, who has dominated 12-round fights against great boxers like Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez. Each of those bouts was 36 minutes long. McGregor’s longest fight totaled 25 minutes.McGregor must be prepared to go the distance because Mayweather will fight through the final round.

What McGregor lacks in boxing experience he makes up in self-belief. I have never seen such single willed determination to win in a boxer since Ali. Sometimes that is all it takes.

Why Bet Floyd Mayweather To Beat Conor McGregor

Boxing betting action has been a one sided affair with just 20% of the action coming in on Floyd Mayweather. That will stick in his craw until the undefeated boxer gets his hands on the Irishman.

Of Mayweather’s eight fights since 2011, the 40-year-old has only fought two opponents at such a low betting price — Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez. Both are much stronger boxers than McGregor, so why are so many people betting against Floyd?

The hype. I fully expect sharp money to come in late on Mayweather the better the payout gets.

Mayweather Vs McGregor Pick

I believe McGregor has a shot at beating Mayweather, but it’s a puncher’s chance. I expect Mayweather to dance until McGregor can’t keep his hands up in the heavier boxing gloves. Then Floyd will go in for the kill.

Pacquiao Vs Horn Odds & Pick

Pacquiao Vs Horn Odds & Pick

Manny Pacquiao battles Jeff Horn in the Battle of Brisbane this July 1 for the WBO Welterweight Championship. The battle takes place at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia. Round 1 is scheduled for 11:30 pm ET on Saturday, July 1.

Manny Pacquiao is 59-6-2. Pacquiao’s won 5 out of his last 6 bouts. His lone loss in his last 6 fights was to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2015. Jeff Horn is 16-0-1. The Battle of Brisbane will be Jeff Horn’s first title fight.

Manny Pacquiao Vs Jeff Horn Odds & Pick

Manny Pacquiao is a huge favorite. He’s a bigger favorite at -650 to beat Horn than Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a favorite at -550 to beat Conor McGregor.

WBO Welterweight Championship
When: Saturday, July 1, 2017
Where: Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, Australia
Odds: Manny Pacquiao -650 vs Jeff Horn +425

Bet on Manny Pacquiao -650 because…

Pacquiao is one of the greatest fighters to ever live. He showed in his unanimous decision win over Timothy Bradley Jr. that he could hang with the best fighters in his weight class not named Floyd Mayweather Jr.

After beating Bradley Jr., Pacquiao beat Jessie Vargas in a 12-Round Unanimous Decision. Both Vargas and Bradley Jr. have much more experience than Jeff Horn.

Bet on Jeff Horn +425  because…

Jeff Horn fights in front of his countrymen. Horn is a 29-year-old fighter born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We should never look past home ring advantage in a championship fight. Horn is undefeated. He also won’t have to travel that far to lace up his gloves to fight Manny Pacquiao.

Expert Pick & Final Series Prediction

Although Pacquiao is now 38-years-old, he’s far from being an old man. Pacquiao has taken care of his body. His promoter, Bob Arum, has been very careful to only put Pac in the ring with fighters that Manny can handle.

Jeff Horn is one of those fighters that Manny can handle. I like Horn. I always like fighters to are undefeated, and show no fear in the ring. But, Horn has beaten up a bunch of dudes in Australia.

That’s different than taking on one of the greatest fighters to ever live. I recently watched Pacquiao battle Marco Antonio Barrera on The Ring app through Amazon Fire TV. In those days Pacquiao was still working on his right hand.

Pac doesn’t have an issue with using his right hand anymore. I think he dominates Horn. Horn’s a tough kid. It might take a several rounds for Manny to knock him out.

I am betting on Manny Pacquiao over Jeff Horn via TKO in Round 5
