Odds & Picks PGA ChampionshipNoah Williams
With three different winners for each of this year’s majors, the big question heading into the 2017 PGA Championship is whether there’s going to be another different champ hoisting the PGA Championship hardware or whether one of the previous three major winners this year can bag their second title this season.

The Odds-On Favorite To Win The PGA: Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy 7/1
Sure, Jordan Spieth won the British Open in July, but it didn’t come without his share of drama late in the final round, which is why I believe he’s used up all of his luck for the year and is going to be a non-factor to win the PGA Championship. Yes, Spieth is crazy talented, but he’s also shown he prone to the occasional choke job, which is why he’ll never be Tiger Woods people (just stop it please).
As far as Rory McIlroy is concerned, maybe it’s me, but he just reminds me of tennis’ super-whiny Andy Murray, but that’s not why I don’t like him to challenge for the title at the PGA Championship. In nine events this year, McIlroy has yet to record a win this season, although he does have a trio of fourth place finishes with one of those coming at the Open Championship a few weeks ago.
The Smart Pick To Win: Dustin Johnson 10/1
I’m thinking DJ is due to start sipping on some Gin and Juice with Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart after ‘upsetting’ both Spieth and McIlroy to win the 2017 Players Championship while showing both young stars who is really the best player on the planet today. Johnson leads the PGA Tour in driving distance and is third in greens in regulation (70.5%), not to mention 11th in eagles per hole (118.3), 16th in birdie average (3.98) and 10th in scoring (69.843). After failing to win one of the three majors so far this year, Johnson just feels like he’s due to me. Besides, he’s the genuine article!
The Long Shot PGA Pick: Rafael Cabrera-Bello 80/1
When you’ve got the same name as the rejuvenated ‘Rafa’ Nadal, that’s good enough to be my longshot pick for at least one major tournament, especially after finishing tied for fourth at the British Open last month and both, The Players Championship and the FedEx St. Jude Classic earlier this year. The 33-year-old, World No. 16 Spaniard is really playing as well as anyone in the world right now and is offering a stupendous return at 80/1 odds should he manage to pull off the huge upset victory. Besides, if you saw his incredible par save on the 18th hole at the Open Championship, then you know anything is possible for this guy. Now, let’s say it all together. Vamos Rafa!
