The final chapter in the race for the 2015 Triple Crown will be put to a close on Saturday evening after the 147th running of the Belmont Stakes. For the 2nd straight year, a horse the opportunity to make history and win the Triple Crown, a feat that hasn’t been accomplished since Affirmed did it in 1978 (37 years ago).
While all eyes will be on American Pharoah breaking from the fifth post position in this Saturday’s Belmont Stakes, you can get lucky with my Pick 3 predictions.

He won the Belmont Stakes last year and is undefeated in 4 starts over the Belmont dirt. Tonalist is an absolute must use in any Pick 3 because he’s the definition of a horse for course.
This guy goes first time in the U.S. for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin and Shadwell Stable after winning 4 races in a row in the United Arab Emirates. Tamarkuz figures to get lost in the betting, making him a great horse to use in the Pick 3.
It’s impossible to leave Bayern off of any Pick 3 tickets. The BC Classic winner didn’t show his best in his first race of 2015, but with that run under his belt, he figures to show his best on Saturday.
9. Honor Code
The real Honor Code didn’t show up for the G2 Alysheba at Churchill Downs in his last. There is a lot of speed in here. So, Honor Code has to be given a shot to make amends.
10. Kobe’s Back
After switching barns to Peter Miller, Kobe’s Back has run 2 excellent races. First, he finished second by less than a length to the super. fast Wild Dude. Then, he won the G3 Commonwealth at Keeneland in April. Kobe’s odds are going to be huge in this.

2. Twilight Eclipse
He only beat War Dancer by a neck in his last but that was after allowing War Dancer to lope along at a :50 half and a 1:15.2 six furlong pace. If the pace is somewhat quicker, Twilight Eclipse could win this by open lengths.
3. Finnegan’s Wake
The Peter Miller trainee showed guts and determination when winning the G1 Turf Classic on Kentucky Derby Day. Plenty of rest and a quicker pace mean that Finnegan will be that much stronger on June 6.
8. Biz The Nurse
Great turf rider Joel Rosario takes the call above this G1 winner from Italy who won his first race state side before finishing fourth in the G1 Elkhorn in his last. He could be in the perfect position to jump on the front. runners as they turn for home.
11. Jack Milton
1 ½ miles doesn’t seem like Jack Milton’s preferred distance, but if you leave him off the ticket, you know he’ll burn you. Trainer Todd Pletcher is winning at 49% at the current Belmont meet.
Race 11 – Belmont Stakes
5. American Pharoah
American Pharoah is a super star horse that should beat his competition in the 1 ½ mile Test of Champions and march into the history books. There are only 8 horses entered for the Belmont Stakes on Saturday. Out of those 8, only American Pharoah and Materiality like to run either on the lead or a length off. Materiality isn’t likely to out run American Pharoah to the first turn, which means that if he wants it, Victor Espinoza can put the Triple Crown hopeful on the lead. He’s the horse to single in the Pick 3 sequence.
