Major League Baseball’s 2015 campaign begins in a few short days and that still leaves time to make a few 2015 World Series betting predictions.

Which MLB Team Has The Odds To Win The 2015 World Series
Washington Nationals +550
The Nationals are a major favorite because they signed former Detroit pitcher Max Scherzer. Scherzer adds to a starting rotation that already includes Jordan Zimmerman, Doug Fister, Gio Gonzalez and Stephen Strasburg. That’s five potential lock down starters.
Los Angeles Dodgers +700
Signing Jimmy Rollins was a huge move. The batting line-up figures to be Rollins, Carl Crawford, Yasiel Puig and Adrian Gonzalez in the top four spots. But Brandon McCarthy and Brett Anderson, the two starters after Clayton Kershaw, Zach Greinke and Hyun-Jin Ryu, often get hurt. It doesn’t look like the bull-pen got any better either.
Los Angeles Angels +1000
Not having Josh Hamilton in the line-up might actually help the Angels. The team is solid in every category including with closer Houston Street who should be fantastic in 2015. Mike Trout is the best player in baseball.
Boston Red Sox +1200
Additions Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez will help the Red Sox score runs, but they lost Jon Lester and John Lackey in the starting rotation. Rick Porcello, from Detroit, may or may not be ready to take on the role of "ace".
St. Louis Cardinals +1200
The key for the Cardinals are injuries to starting pitchers Adam Wainwright and Michael Wacha. It turns out that Wainwright pitched most of the second half of 2014 season with an abdominal issue. If he’s healthy, the Cardinals are contenders. Wacha was injured for most of 2014.
San Diego Padres +1600
They added a true ace, James Shields, to an already decent starting rotation. Shields should excel at Petco Park. Matt Kemp, a former in the running MVP, could help the Padres score more runs. The odds have gone down significantly. Kemp and Shields are why.
Detroit Tigers +1600
With Miguel Cabrera and Yoenis Cespedes in the batting line-up, the Tigers are going to score plenty of runs. But the bullpen, unless closer Joe Nathan steps it up, looks week again. Plus, Justin Verlander and David Price, the two aces, may slow down some in 2015.
Seattle Mariners +1600
If pitcher James Paxton is another ace to go along with Felix Hernandez and Hisashi Iwakuma, the Mariners could win the AL West and possibly the AL Pennant. Robinson Cano is as good of a baseball player as there is in MLB.

Chicago Cubs +1700
They added Jon Lester to the starting rotation. Manager Joe Maddon is one of the best in all of baseball. The team has some positives, but they might be a season or two away from actually winning the World Series.
San Francisco Giants +1800
Even without Big Panda, the Giants will be formidable. If Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain return to form, +1800 is going to look like a gift because Madison Bumgarner is awesome. It’s tough to repeat as World Series winners, but if any team can do it, it’s this one.
