The Angeles Are Pushing For Better Play From Their Guys

Now that the Angeles wet their lips with the sweet taste of victory I think we should see a little more aggressive play out of them, look for their catcher to go out of his way to make base stealing harder over the next few games. The Astros seem to fall behind in the count at bat a lot recently, not sure if that’s a tactic of tiring out the pitcher but it’s really not working for them as they seem to have to really come from behind.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Houston Astros
Jarred Cosart tries to follow up a terrific season debut on Monday when the Houston Astros close out a four-game series at home against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Minute Maid Park.

The Angels are one of those teams that could start off frozen then before you know it they don’t know what losing is, Albert Pujols in my opinion does need to wake up and start really earning all that money they threw at him, I think that this is the year that he tops for the honors of batting king. The way I see it, this Angeles teams needs to pull together, field the balls better and stay structured around the bases.

Houston will be looking to take advantage from the pitching aspect as they will have Jarred Cosart on the mount after striking three batters out in his only start. He will be going up against heavily favored C.J. Wilson who lost his first game with an ERA of 9.53 but still struck out 8 players. Houston will look to get out to an early lead and really pull their players in, making things harder for the Angels to beat them up the middle or close to the walls.

Pick: I recommend Houston in this game, they are at home, this is the last game of a very long four game series and I think that they will rally behind their crowd.
