MLB Best Bets This Week – Say Hello To The…Colorado Rockies?!Noah Williams
How about celebrating the end to the long weekend with my MLB best bets this week? The Oakland Athletics still lead the way as one of my favorite baseball betting teams, but there are two new clubs that deserve your attention as well. And the last one is not for the faint of the heart.
MLB Best Bets This Week
Oakland Athletics (13-5 SU and +733 ML Units)
The Athletics have surged to the head of the betting board and will become a big public play, but that’s not enough for me to turn my back on them as one of the MLB best bets this week. They’re 8-2 SU in their last 10 games and have been one of the best defensive teams in the American League lately, allowing just a 2.48 ERA and a league leading 1.09 WHIP. With the weary travelling Rangers, who are 2-4 SU away from the Great State, and road value in Houston later this week, Oakland remains at the top of my automatic plays this week in baseball betting.
Upcoming Schedule: vs. Texas (4-21 – 4/23), @ Houston (4/24 – 4/27)
Atlanta Braves (12-6 SU and +657 ML Units)
I usually don’t like big public teams playing at home, but when it comes to making money I don’t mind taking team that’ll have tight margins. Making money is still better than losing money so Atlanta gets a tip of the hat in my MLB best bets this week. The Braves have been on a tear recently, going 7-3 SU which included a sweep of the Nationals last weekend. Freddie Freeman has been a revelation lately and their pitching/defense is as good as it gets when it comes to a home team.
Upcoming Schedule: vs. Miami (4/21 – 4/23), vs. Cincinnati (4/25 – 4/27)
Colorado Rockies (10-10 SU and +706 RL Units)
The Rockies are only worth playing if you have the stomach to bet the run lines. Colorado has gone 13-7 ATS this season and have been a profit churning monster in regards to the handicap. They haven’t lost one game by more than one run in their last 10 efforts and with magnificent matchups against the publically backed Giants and Dodgers this weekend, Colorado’s underrated defense and capable offense is sure to make some noise as one of the off-the-radar MLB best bets this week.
Upcoming Schedule: vs. San Francisco (4/21 – 4/23), @ LAD (4/25 – 4/27)
