Baseball’s Best Upcoming Bets – April 28th to May 1st 2014Noah Williams
Knowing when to stack against a road team, a home team, the moneyline or the runline is always a dangerous and sticky balance so I’m here to offer some clear cut advice with baseball’s best upcoming bets this week.
Baseball’s Best Upcoming Bets April 28th May 1st 2014
Oakland Atheletics vs. Texas Rangers (4/28 – 4/30)
The Rangers are coming off a promising 4-2 SU stretch which includes a three game road trip to Oakland where they swept their main division rivals while outscoring them 12-7. That bodes well for the hard charging Rangers who have been a stalwart at home, going 9-4 SU at Rangers Ballpark. Texas isn’t a complete team at all, but they’re one of baseball’s best upcoming bets during the early half of the week because they simply seem to own the Oakland Athletics.

Colorado Rockies Vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (4/28 – 4/30)
This national league series might not be on your radar but it should be because it’s definitely one of baseball’s best upcoming bets on the board. Colorado is one a profit churning monster while Arizona has been quite possibly the worst team to bet on in all of the majors. I would hammer Colorado as a road runline play in all three of these games. As far as grinding out a team goes, Colorado is one of the most profitable and are losing enough games outright to keep the public far away. It’s a perfect storm, and one that won’t lost forever. So get involved.

Seattle Mariners vs. New York Yankees (4/29 – 5/1)
At the very start of the season, the Seattle Mariners, were one of my favorite plays but they’ve since gone in to the tank thanks to a 3-7 SU run over their last 10 games. They’ve done just enough under the wrong circumstances to really drive away their backers, and a trip to New York isn’t going to bring anyone back to their side of the line.
Strangely enough, the Yankees are one of baseball’s best upcoming bets this week with some home series against two teams that haven’t travelled all that well so far. They play Seattle starting Tuesday and then host Tampa Bay through the weekend. The Yankees have been coming through as a strong moneyline play over the last few weeks, but have been a really tough gamble on the spread. So stick with the easy play here and take the Yankees as one baseball’s best upcoming bets for the first half of the week.
