Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants

Talk About Starting Off The Season On The Wrong Foot

Things have gone as wrong as they possibly can for this Arizona team who find themselves 1-7 after their first two series. This team has made every error in the book and it so obvious too, the Giants are actually on the winning side at 5-1 with great infield play as well as their fielding abilities. Both of these teams are looking for a win but Arizona has to remain calm and try to work their way back into it, if they try to hard they will fall apart.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants will make their 2014 debut at AT&T Park on Tuesday when they host the Arizona Diamondbacks in their home opener.
Starts: 04/08/2014 4:20PM
AT&T Park, 24 Willie Mays Plaza,
San FranciscoCalifornia

The Diamondbacks have looked horrible on the mount, pitching into the dirt and allowing 3 runs already on wild pitches, this is unlike this team who is a post season regular. So far they are ranked 18 th in batting average with a .237 while there on base percentage is around the .289. The interesting part is that if they get a man on base, they can bring him home, ranking 6 th overall with 20 runs scored. Their issue lies on defense, they have a poor pitching rotation that is getting light up and all in the wrong sports… over third base or on the outside of the shortstop.

San Fran just needs to continue what they have been doing, playing hard and cleaning up on defense, they pass the ball well while at the same time their itching has looked very solid. This team is second in runs scored with 38 in six games and 12 th in batting percentage at .255. Defense they need to do a better job at getting the ball back inside, the pitching rotation needs to take more time, they cannot allow themselves to get ahead, they have to play each game as it comes and as hard as they can.

Pick: The Giants dominate this Diamondbacks team that is dying due to their pitching staff.. expect big changes soon to this ball club.
