Who Can Win The Toyota 400 At Richmond

To Win The Toyota 400 At Richmond: Brad Keselowski 7-1

Keselowski’s history at Richmond International Speedway isn’t all that great. His average start is 10.7 while his average finish is 18.7. But Keselowski has only driven at Richmond 8 times. He and his crew have shown the ability to learn from their mistakes, which is why he’s an excellent choice to win the Toyota 400 at Richmond at 6 to 1 odds.

Keselowski lost all shot in the Ford City 500 after starting second. He ended up finishing thirty-fifth. The crew figures to make amends this weekend. Overall, Keselowski has a win and 3 Top 5 finishes out of 8 starts this season. He could add another victory this weekend. Before the thirty-fifth place finish in the Ford City 500, Keselowski had won the Auto Club 400, finished second to Joey Logano in the STP 500, and had finished fifth in the Duck Commander 500.

To Place At The Toyota 400 At Richmond: Joey Logano 12-1

On the season, Logano has been exceptional. He has 4 Top 5 finishes from 8 races. He’s already won a race, the Daytona 500. Logano has quickly built an impressive resume.

When it comes to Richmond, like Keselowski, Logano’s history is spotty. Out of 8 races at Richmond, Joey only has 1 Top 5 finish. His average starting position is 10 while his average finishing position is 19.1. But, like Keselowski, Logano and his crew are very good at making adjustments from track to track. Also, 8 races probably isn’t a big enough sample.

Joey L.’s starting average this year is 4.5 while his finishing average this year is 9.6. That gives him a leg up in this. Logano should be in the thick of it with 10 laps left.

To Show At The Toyota 400 At Richmond:  Kasey Kahne 15-1

Kasey’s been on again and off again so far this year. The eleventh place finish in the STP 500 wasn’t bad. He followed that up with an eighth place finish in the Duck Commander 500. Then, last week, Kahne ended up thirty-seventh after starting eighth.

Kahne has won a pole at Richmond. He has a victory and he’s finished in the Top 5 a total of 4 times. He could definitely add another a victory. At the overlay odds, which is what Kasey seems to be going off at every week this year, he’s a viable underdog play.
