2018 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Odds & Picks

  • Dennis Smith Jr. +150
  • Donovan Mitchell +215
  • Larry Nance Jr. +275
  • Victor Oladipo +500

D. Smith Jr. Wins Slam Dunk contest +150

Dennis Smith is an explosive 6’3” rookie floor leader for the Dallas Mavericks that is clearly the future of the now, floundering franchise. The 6’3” former North Carolina State point guard has some massive hops and has already thrown down some hellacious dunks including a 360 against Washington earlier this season that he called a “light dunk”.

D. Mitchell Wins Slam Dunk contest +215

Utah Jazz 6’3” rookie shooting guard Donovan ‘Spida’ Mitchell is going to have a real shot to win this year’s dunk contest. The rookie from Louisville attacks the rim pretty damned viciously!

L. Nance Jr. Wins Slam Dunk contest +275

Larry Nance Jr. has thrown down a whopping 59 dunks this season and he’s got some major ups like his daddy! Nance is 6’9 is unusually tall for a slam dunk contest, but don’t sleep on this superstar.

V. Oladipo Wins Slam Dunk contest +500

Veteran shooting guard Victor Oladipo is 6’4” and he’s got some very nice hops and he’s got all kinds of dunks, like 360s, spin and dunks and reverses, as you’ll see right here! I’m loving Oladipo’s chances as a +500 pick!
