The Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks will both be looking to start off the new week with a victory when they square off on Sunday in a matchup of Eastern Conference playoff contenders.
Philadelphia 76ers Vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Pick Analysis
Philadelphia had lost two straight heading into its Thursday night road date against Cleveland and was on the wrong end of a crushing 102-101 home loss against Miami. Joel Embiid scored a team-high 23 points for Philadelphia while Dario Saric added 21 points. Philadelphia led by as many as 10 in the fourth quarter but couldn’t stop Dwyane wade from taking over down the stretch.
"D-Wade down the stretch was amazing," Sixers veteran shooting guard J.J. Redick said.
The Bucks had lost three in a row heading into their Friday night matchup against Indiana including their humbling 110-87 blowout loss against Detroit on Wednesday night. Milwaukee got a team-high 19 points from point guard Eric Bledsoe, but superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo left the game with 10:08 remaining in the Bucks’ 110-87 loss to the Pistons with an apparent injury around his right eye. The Pistons outscored Milwaukee 56-34 in the paint and had 15 offensive rebounds in the first half alone.
"You can’t give a team that many extra possessions and have a chance to win," Milwaukee’s Jabari Parker said. "If we take away those extra possessions, we’re right back in the game."
76ers Vs Bucks Betting Pick Analysis
The Bucks might be playing at home in this contest, but I like the Philadelphia 76ers to get the outright road win as Joel Embiid dominates down low and Ben Simmons mostly counters Milwaukee’s Greek Freak.
I know Philadelphia is just 13-17 on the road this season while Milwaukee has gone 19-12 at home, but I think the 76ers are the better coached and more cohesive team. The Bucks and Sixers have split their two regular season meetings so far this season with each team winning at home. However, I like the Sixers to snap that slight trend in this contest.
