Lakers. Saturday night’s prime time game pits San Antonio against Lebron and Cleveland before a Sunday afternoon marquee matchup between the Chicago Bulls and the L.A. Clippers.

NBA Betting ATS Expert Picks

Houston at San Antonio
When: Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 5:00 pm ET

Analysis: It’s difficult to see the Rockets, who are 8 and 12 overall against the spread in road games this season, covering versus San Antonio in San Antonio this Wednesday. The last time that these 2 teams met, on Jan. 2, the Spurs beat the Rockets 121 to 103. Will San Antonio having to face Golden State on Monday, Jan. 25, affect this game? It might in a good way. Tim Duncan won’t play against the Warriors. He should be well-rested to face James Harden and the Rockets.

Pick: San Antonio

New York at Toronto
When: Thurs, Jan. 28 at 5:00 pm ET

Analysis: In a terrific matchup last November, New York battled Toronto to an 11 to 109 win. In that game, Kristaps Prozingis had only 8 points while Carmelo Anthony dropped 25 onto the Raptors. But that feels like a lifetime ago. The Knicks go into this week having gone 1 and 5 ATS in their last 6. Toronto has gone 4 and 0 both straight up and ATS in their last 4 to start the week. The Raptors get it done.

Pick: Toronto

NBA Betting Game Total Over/Under Picks

Dallas at Golden State
When: Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 pm ET

Analysis: Dallas is one of those mediocre teams that scores about as many points a game as it gives up. The Mavericks average 101.2 points per game while giving up 101.4. Sure, Golden State is going to blow out the Mavericks, but Dallas might not even hit 90 in this game. The Warriors allow 42.8% shooting from the field. Dallas averages 44% shooting from the field. I’m going under.

Pick: Under

Chicago at Los Angeles Lakers
When: Thursday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 pm ET

Analysis: The under is 13 to 7 in Los Angeles Lakers games this season. The Lakers average an awful 40% shooting from the field when scoring 96 points per game. L.A. gives up, get this, 106.5 points per game on average. Teams average over 46% shooting from the field against the Lakers. Chicago can score. But, Chicago also has one of the top defenses in the NBA. Great defense against arguably the worst offense in the league?  This definitely sounds like an under contest.

Pick: Under

NBA Betting Straight Up Moneyline Picks

San Antonio at Cleveland
When: Saturday, Jan. 30 at 5:30 pm ET

Analysis: Cleveland doesn’t have the right chemistry to win an NBA Championship. Sure, they can blame it on Dave Blatt, their former coach, all that they want. But the truth is that the Cavs are Lebron and a bunch of wannabees. When Lebron works with a player that is almost of the same caliber as he, like Dwayne Wade, he excels. But give him a bunch of Lebron wannabees and he falls apart. That’s the problem with everybody on the Cavs’ roster. They all want to be Lebron. Not that it matters against the Spurs. San Antonio could sit both Tim Duncan and Tony Parker and they’d still beat the Cavs. That’s how much better they are than Cleveland.

Pick: San Antonio

Chicago at Los Angeles Clippers
When: Sunday, Jan. 31 at 12:30 pm ET

Analysis: After beating up on the Lakers, the Bulls turn their attention to a much tougher foe, the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, Jan. 31. The Clippers get to beat up the Lakers on Thursday. So, both teams will prep for this gargantuan matchup by destroying L.A.’s junior varsity team. It’s likely that Blake Griffin returns to the line-up this week. Even without Griffin, Chicago doesn’t match up very well with the Clipps. Guard Chris Paul can run circles around the oft-injured Derrick Rose while DeAndre Jordan has too much energy for Pau Gasol. I like the Clippers.

Pick: Los Angeles Clippers
