As much as we would all love to see Rajon Rondo back in the starting lineup for Boston in this game against the Houston Rockets I just don’t see that happening, we need him too much down the line so I think it will still be a few weeks before he is fully able to take contact to that hand. This is going to be an interesting game as the Rockets look to get Howard going early, they have lost a few key pieces to their scoring offense but as long as they still have James Harden they will be a threat to any team.
Boston Celtics vs. Houston Rockets

Boston travels to Houston for this game where the key matchup will be inside the paint with Sullinger going up against Dwight. I expect the Celtic’s mentality to open this game will be to double team the post man and bring down a guard to help cover the rim, that will leave a shooter open but with decent rotation the Celtics should be able to get to him if Houston kicks the ball back out. Thornton will be big for this Celtics team coming off the bench because of his scoring ability and half court defense but either way you look at it this Boston’s offense will run through Jeff Green, he needs to get his touches for this game to be close.
Houston has not looked too bad but they have found their perimeter shooting as gone down, losing Parsons in free agency will make them double think the shot more often than they would want and I expect more unexpected passes down low to a Howard that does not have the best hands, resulting in turnovers and 3 second violations. This team is still the Rockets who have a killer back court and can run the ball with ease; I think that stopping the fast break is key to stopping Houston.
I have the Celtics losing this game because of points in the paint, it will be close but as the game wears on the less they will shoot and the harder it will be to turn things around. This game goes to Houston who wins it by 9 points.
