Welcome to the 2015 NBA Finals that everyone wanted this season. Sorry Oklahoma. The best-of-seven series between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers at long last get under way Thursday night with Game 1 tipping off at 9:00 PM ET from the ORACLE Arena in Oakland, California.
The Western Confernce champion Warriors, led by 2015 league MVP and baby-faced assasin Stephen Curry, have home-court advantage for the best-of-7 series and will host Games 1, 2, 5 and 7. Golden State is in the Finals for the first time since 1975, when it won the most-recent of its three NBA titles.
The Eastern Conference champion Cavs, led by 4-time MVP and leagues top draw LeBron James, will host Games 3, 4 and 6. Cleveland has never won the NBA title, having last reached the Finals in 2007.
The Experts Pick The Cleveland Cavaliers Vs Golden State Warriors NBA Finals
In the next few days you are going to be hearing a lot of the Championship hoopla from Cleveland and the Bay Area as the Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors continue preparations for their NBA Finals matchup and I am here to clear out all of the noise and give you the NBA betting experts picks for the Cavs V Warriors NBA Finals best-of-seven tilt.
Charles Barkley – Inside the NBA, TNT – CLEVELAND over Golden State
Barkley didn’t have the Cavs beating the Bulls in their second round NBA playoffs matchup after losing Kevin Love for the season, but after Cleveland’s convincing 4-0 sweep of the Atlanta Hawks in The East Finals capped off by an stunning 118-88 blowout victory at home, Barkley didn’t mince words on his new found thoughts and predictions.
“The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win the world championship this year.”

“[Tristan] Thompson has solidified the power forward spot to go with [Timofey] Mozgov,” Barkley said. “They have a big team now. With the addition of J.R. Smith and [Iman] Shumpert, they have athletic ability on the perimeter now. Mozgov saved their season because they were just too small. But now you put him and Thompson together… LeBron’s playing at an unbelievable level… But I think the addition of Shumpert and J.R. Smith made them a legit NBA team.”
Ken Berger – NBA Insider, CBS Sports – Warriors in 7
Ken Berger has picked the Warriors to win in 7 which seems to be the general concensous at CBSsports.com.

Lee Jenkins – Sports Illustrated Senior Writer – Warriors in 6
Lee Jenkins of SI.com has picked the Warriors to beat Cavaliers in 6 for the 2015 NBA Championship.
Phil Taylor – Sports Illustrated Senior Writer – Warriors in 7
Phil Taylor, also of SI.com, picks the Warriors to beat the Cavs in 7 games. Why? He credits the team’s depth for rookie head-coach Steve Kerr’s playoff success this season.
Sam Amick, USA TODAY Sports – Warriors
Amick of USA Today lists out his top 3 reasons why the Warriors will beat the Cleveland Cavs in their best of seven series.
Jeff Zillgitt, USA TODAY Sports – CLEVELAND over Golden State
Zillgitt has his own 3 reasons, but he has picked the Cavs to bring the first NBA title to Cleveland.
Stephen A Smith – ESPN First Take – too scared to make a pick
The usually very opinioated Stephen A Smith had decided not to pick a winner of this series until closer to tip-off time because its just too close to call. Does anyone else think Smith is just just waiting to see who everyone else picks and then jump on the bandwagon?
Skip Bayless – ESPN First Take – Warriors in 7 unless he changes his mind
Bayless is picking the Warriors, but he is reserving the right to change that. Can anyone tell me why these guys are getting paid to NOT make up their minds?
Benjamin Netanyahu – Israeli Prime Minister – CLEVELAND over Golden State
Cavaliers rookie Coach David Blatt, an Israeli-American, told Cleveland.com Sunday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “said all of Israel is behind the Cavaliers” in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. “That was great,” the coach added.
Blatt has dual citizenship in the United States (where he was born) and in Israel, where his family still lives and where he spent most his pro career as a player and coach. Last year, he guided the Israeli squad Maccabi Tel Aviv to the Euroleague title, earning an earlier congratulations from Netanyahu, he said.
Netanyahu was probably also very giddy to see Blatt and the Cavs take down President Obama’s home team Bulls in the second round of the playoffs.
