NBA Brooklyn Nets Boston Celtics

Celtics Looking For A Win However They Can Get It

This will be the final NBA preseason game for the Celtics as they look to start the regular season off better then how these last few weeks went. They will open against Toronto, a team that has beat them twice in the last 3 weeks. This will be yet another meeting between the Nets and Boston, the only ex Celtic that will be playing in this one from Brooklyn will be Jason Terry as KG and Pierce take the night off. The Celtics will look to get most of their rotations set for the regular season as well as their starters some late game action as well.

The Celtics will have the crowd in their corner, at least the few that turn out for the game, this preseason has not been kind to the Celtics winning only 1 game and not looking good at all. Jeff Green has to understand that he has to step up, night in and night out he has to become the go to guy doe scoring while Bass cleans up the boards and Bradley moves to ball till Rondo comes back. The Celtics need to find their defensive rotations in this game against a stronger and younger inside Nets game.

Brooklyn knows it has nothing to fight for in this one, a loss means nothing to them at this point as the only goal is a championship and with the roll players they have added makes them the biggest threat to the Heat. Point guard Darren Williams is still out but will be ready by opening night. I expect the Nets to play much more perimeter ball in this game as they look for their shooters to sit them into the rotation they will start as well.

What to expect:

I expect this game to be an offensive wonderland as all the young guys that are battling for a roster spot will try and create off the dribble, the big post players are needed on the Celtics so they won’t be too pressured but I expect the Nets players that are now with Boston like Humphries and Wallace will lie to get their hands a little dirty in this one. Take the Celtics cause it´s the last win they have for a while.
