The Fight Is Far From Over

Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings

The Fight Is Far From Over

This game will actually turn out to be a very important one to the Mavericks given their recent winning streak. They have really propelled themselves in this second half of the season to reach the playoffs, they have fought very hard and has of right now they own the final seed in the West. The Kings are famous for one thing, killing dreams. They have caused more teams to miss the post season because of a loss than anyone else in the West.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings
The Dallas Mavericks take on the Sacramento Kings this Sunday in the NBA.
Starts: 04/06/2014 6:00PM
Sleep Train Arena, One Sports Parkway
SacramentoCalifornia

Dallas must come out and find their shoot, they have not played extremely well on the inside so I expect they are going to stay with what has been working, their shooting ability allows them to open the floor and force their opponents to come out to guard them, leaving the top of the key as well as the driving lanes open for the smaller guards like Monta Ellis. Dallas needs to defend the paint much better than they have, Demarcus Cousins will look to exploit them inside with his post up game.

Sacramento traded away a few of its better players, they have a distinctive direction in which they are headed, the only thing is that no one else, including the players on the team know what that direction is. I love the fact that these guys still come out ever night and play their hearts out, you can tell that they leave it all out on the floor. With a win in this final meeting against the Mavericks this season they have the chance to even up the series at two games apiece.

Pick: I have to admit that the Mavs have been playing very good, they have improved their defense to a much higher level but at -8 on the road seems a little high, I like the Kings to lose the game but cover the number.
