This is a great game from the fans point of view because it has a little of everything, both teams have decent defenses and are fully capable of making some big plays while at the same time on the offensive side they are a complete mismatch. The Clippers play an inside post game with high flying dunks and sharp cuts to the rim while the Suns are snipers from anywhere on the court. Phoenix is known for lighting teams up even from a few feet outside the three line.
The Clippers have recently added a huge piece to their roster, a defensive oriented player that has a great relationship with current head coach Doc Rivers, from Orlando power forward Glen Davis. His presence off the bench for this team will be very important as he can carry them defensively late in games. The Clippers lost in their first game against the Suns this season so I think this time around they will look to make a lasting impression.
Phoenix is that team that just clicks together, they do not have that all-star player that everyone knows and I think that is what makes them so good, because every night they go out and compete, they have a different player that can rise up to become top performer. Their bench is deep and they play very smart, they slow the game down and strategically pick their spots to rotate the ball too looking for the open shot. I have the Suns -1 simply because they are at home but I think the Clippers get their revenge with the addition of Davis´s defense.
