This is the game I have been waiting all season long to watch, the defending Champion Heat travel to Houston to take on the newly formed power house that is the Rockets. During the offseason Houston acquired center Dwight Howard who has been an animal under the rim for this team but more than that guard James Harden has come alive having yet again one of his best season´s so far. This is the first time that they will play one another with the teams they have now and this could very well turn out to be a possible Finals matchup.
Momentum will be running at an all time high in this game as both teams will really be looking for the win in order to have the upper hand on the other. This game will showcase some of the best players the NBA has to offer and Miami has the pressure as the current champions. They will really need to find a way to get to the rim without having to go directly through Howard while looking for a defender good and fast enough to guard Harden off the ball on the other end.
The Rockets are playing at home and will need their fans to back them up in this one, I honestly think they have a chance to beat out the Thunder to represent the West in the Finals so a win against the Heat now will give them a little something extra if that scenario plays out later this year. Howard will have is plate full trying to defend James and Birdman from coming into the painted area.
I have this game at a pick and in the end the home team will take a game each. I like the Rockets here to win with their defense and aggressiveness late in the fourth quarter.
