So, The Celtics Do Have It In ThemTheDuck
For the last few season´s no matter how good things were going the Pistons were always the team to really bother the Celtics overall game style. As of last night, they have proven that they can adapt and come up with a dominating win over a rebounding machine of a team. This time the hurting Knicks come to town not only as a division rival but as a team that is need of a convincing win of any kind at this point. With every loss that they suffer their chances of the post season fades away that much more.
The Knicks will obviously have Carmelo on full green light, he has always felt good playing the Celtics and it will be up to Jeff Green on both sides of the court to not only hold at bay, but run the offense. Things have gotten much better for Boston with the return of Rondo who just the other night was back to his old ways dishing out 18 assists. New York needs Chandler to step up the defense in the middle to holes the paint down and create transition chances.
Boston is really running on high, having won their last three games and giving a great showing against the Pistons, I think it´s time to fear them a little. This will be the last game of the regular season between these two and Boston won the two openers earlier in the season. New York took game three and have to win this one to not get swept and knock them even lower in the rankings.
Boston will be the slight favorite -1.5, I like the way they have worked on their defense, they need to collapse the middle in this game but not allow Carmelo or Smith to get open looks at the basket. I like the Celtics to keep up their good work to wrap up the season.
