NBA Lock Picks Of The Week

We are a a handful of game into the 2016-17 NBA season. The Cavs, Bulls and Hawks are undefeated out of the East. In the West, we have the Spurs, Thunder and Clippers who are yet to see a loss this season. Should you bet on any of those teams this week? Are there any lock betting picks in NBA action for the week of October 31st to November 6th? Keep reading to find answers to those questions and more.

NBA Lock Picks Of The Week

Will Boston exact revenge over Chicago after a loss against the Bulls last week? How will Oklahoma City handle the L.A. Clippers in a road game on Nov. 2? What’s going to happen on Thursday when the Celtics travel to Cleveland to battle King James and the Cavs?

Chicago at Boston
When:  Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: TD Garden, Boston, MA

Analysis: Chicago is 2-0 to start the week. They’re winning by running and gunning and outscoring their opponents. The Bulls average over 111 points per game. That ranks Chicago first in the NBA in points scored per as of Oct. 30.

Boston lost by 6, 99 to 105, just last week. That game was in Chicago. Boston is a much better team than to lose by 6 points to Chicago. My hope is that since the Celtics already lost a game to the Bulls, the point spread is going to make Boston much more attractive ATS than it otherwise would.

I think Boston beats Chicago by close to 10 points in this game on Wednesday.

NBA Lock Pick: Boston

Oklahoma City at Los Angeles Clippers
When:  Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 10:30 pm ET
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA

Analysis: The Oklahoma City Thunder are 3-0 as of Oct. 30. Could the Thunder keep it going versus the Clippers on Wednesday?  I think that they could. Oklahoma City has proven to be a stout defensive team now that Kevin Durant is shooting threes for Golden State. The Thunder allow 42.6% shooting from the field. They allow 22% shooting from three.

Oklahoma City leans on Russell Westbrook for points, rebounds and assists. Westbrook is averaging a triple double this season with 38.7 points, 11.7 assists and 12.3 rebounds per game. He’s easily the NBA’s MVP if he stays healthy.

Defensive pressure and Westbrook should be enough for OKC to cover against the L.A. Clippers on Nov. 2. I don’t think LAC has any answer for Russell.

NBA Lock Pick: Oklahoma City

Boston at Cleveland
When:  Thursday, Nov. 3 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, OH

Analysis: Boston travels to Cleveland to battle the Cavaliers, King James, Kyrie and Mr. Love, on Thursday after tackling the Bulls on Wednesday at home. That’s bad news for Boston fans.

Taking on Chicago, who likes to run up and down the court, a night before battling one of the two best teams in the NBA, San Antonio is the other, is a recipe for disaster. The Cavs are going to be well-rested since they take on Houston on Nov. 1 and get Nov. 2 off.

I just don’t see how Boston can stick with Cleveland in this game. Cleveland loves to beat Boston, it’s one of LeBron’s favorite things to do. I must go with King James and the Cavs no matter what the spread is.
