Why Indianapolis will win: The Pacers have set their sights on the Miami Heat all season long and will enter this series as one of the few teams that isn’t openly ‘scared’ of Miami.

As a matter of fact…Indiana’s strengths are generally weaknesses for Miami so it should be interesting to see if they can take advantage of them. Of course, the Pacers will need better – and more consistent – production out of center Roy Hibbert than they got in either of the previous rounds if they are to have any chance at pulling off the upset.

On another note, there aren’t many players capable of keeping up with James in the athleticism department, but Indiana  small forward Paul George is one of them.

Why Miami will win: The Miami Heat will win simply because they have the best – and most aggressive – player in the game today in small forward LeBron James. Not only that, but Miami also has a bevy of excellent complimentary players that know their respective roles, starting with the quickly-aging Dwyane Wade. The Miami Heat don’t beat themselves very often if at all, so the Pacers will have to take the Eastern Conference crown from them.

Analysis: right now, I’m thinking the Indiana Pacers don’t have the heart – or offense – that it takes to beat a team like Miami, especially with so much riding on the line. I mean, let’s be honest about it. The Pacers struggled mightily to beat the Hawks and just a bit less in dispatching the Wizards. They’re most recent playoff series tell me in no way, shape, fashion or form are they ready for Miami.

NBA Eastern Conference Finals Betting Prediction: Heat in 6.
