NBA Must Bet Games Dec 17-23

Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics
When: Friday, Dec. 21 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: TD Garden, Boston, MA

Analysis: The Milwaukee Bucks continue to surprise. Milwaukee has a fantastic 19-9 record heading into the week. Milwaukee’s not just about the Greek Freak. They’re a deep squad that can rely on Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, and George Hill. However, by the time they take on the Boston Celtics on Friday, they will have already played at Detroit and will have hosted New Orleans.

The Celtics beat Milwaukee 117-113 in the last game. Boston might be the hottest team in the NBA, going 9-2 SU and ATS in their last 11. The reason for the resurgence has to be because of point-guard Kyrie Irving

Irving’s finally hit his stride, now averaging over 22 points and over 6 assists. The Celtics should win and cover.

Pick: Boston Celtics

New Orleans Pelicans at L.A. Lakers
When: Friday, Dec. 21 at 10:30 pm ET
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA

Analysis: This will be a high-scoring game because the Pelicans and Lakers run and gun. New Orleans averages 117 points per. That ranks second in the NBA. The Pelicans will drop buckets all night long, but that doesn’t guarantee that they win on Friday night.

Los Angeles doesn’t average as many points as New Orleans does, but they are efficient. The Lakers shoot 47.8% from the field, ranking fifth in the league. Not only that, but LAL ranks ninth in field goal percentage allowed.

The Lakers should play well enough on defense for the cover victory.

Pick: L.A. Lakers

Toronto Raptors at Philadelphia 76ers
When: Saturday, Dec. 22 at 7:30 pm ET
Where: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA

Analysis: Two of the best in the Eastern Conference clash when Toronto heads to Philly to battle Joel Embiid and the 76ers. The Raptors have a winning 9-7 ATS road record. They also beat the 76ers rather easily, 113-102, the last time they faced them.

But, Philadelphia figures to turn the tables. With Jimmy Butler in the fold, the 76ers have turned into a fantastic team. All 5 of Philly’s starters scored in double-figures in the 128-105 win over Cleveland on Dec. 16.

76ers take it.

Pick: Philadelphia 76ers
