This is the fourth and final regular season game between these two high quality shooting teams this season, with three games already in the books and the Suns having won games 1 and 3 leave the Warriors no choice but to come out with their guns blazing. Golden State needs to even this series up as they head in to the late part of the season, not only will the experience and momentum be big for them but no one counts out a meeting in the post season between the two and even regular season series could really level the game out by not given momentum away for free.
Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors
9:00 PM ET, March 9, 2014
ORACLE Arena, Oakland, CA
The Suns play the same way they have all season, they pick on offense to free up the shooters and move the ball around with a record 7 touches on average before they find the open man for an easy look. That is what makes them special this season as well as very dangerous to a team that might take them a little too loosely. Neither of these teams depend a great deal on defense so you can look at this game being more of a shoot off down the stretch with the total going over the 200 mark.
Golden State has played very well since they picked up Steve Black, he has been a big help to their bench and allows them to rest their point guard and their shooters for longer periods of time. The Warriors have to be on cue, they need to hit their shoots as well as rotate the ball, this will be a running game so they won’t have the tired factor from their opponents they usually have. I think the Suns take this game and the overall series because they have a great team that has more chemistry than any other teams I the NBA today. The Suns are -4.5 and i have them getting this win because of the shire desire they have over others.
