The Denver Nuggets have had an overall shitty last few weeks as they have faced almost all playoff potential teams. They have won 3 of their last 9 and are desperate for a game that will allow them to control based on their speed. This is it! They travel to Orlando to take on the Magic for the last time this season. Orlando lost to the Nuggets earlier this season by 24 but even with that as momentum, I doubt it will be enough to get passed this Nuggets team.
The Nuggets are pushing themselves from now on even though they have no way of logically making the post season they still want to salvage whatever they can knowing that big changes are coming this offseason. Denver´s top matchup in this game against the weak inside presence of the Magic is Kenneth Faried, who leads this team in points, rebounds and overall defense activity. He will be crucial if the Nuggets are going to see some light at the end of this really long tunnel.
Orlando has known that their season was over mid April for a while, they have no experience on the floor anymore aside from an aging Nelson running the point. It will be very interesting to see this team´s transformation over the off time with free agency and all that. Harris is this teams heart beat, the more he puts into it, the harder they play and as the leading scorer on the team he will really need to come alive on this night.
Denver comes into hostile territory as the favorites -5.5 and as much as they are desperate for a well played victory, I still see Orlando sticking around and making things hard on this hurting squad. Denver wins this game but Orlando covers, it will be a few points at more in this one that separates the winners from the losers.
