History could be written in this game tonight folks, when the Charlotte take the court in Milwaukee, if they are to come out victorious it would be the first time in franchise history that they sweep a four game series from any team. Still I don’t see that being motivation enough for the Bucks to try any harder than they already are. Even though this is youth against youth the difference in speed and chemistry is noticeable and will make all the difference.
Charlotte Bobcats vs. Milwaukee Bucks
1:00 PM ET, March 16, 2014
BMO Harris Bradley Center, Milwaukee, WI
The Bobcats are three game away from .500, a place they have never been this late in any season before. Since they came back from the all-star break they have looked different, they out run their opponents, they rebound and really seem to have picked up their overall aggressiveness on the offensive side of the ball. Charlotte won the two first games with relative ease but this last one against the Bucks was a real heart stopper as both teams traded off leads and it took a last minute desperation shot with the seconds winding down to give the Bobcats the win.
Any other team would use that as motivation and I´m sure it would be enough to come back in this fourth and final game to make a statement and not allow themselves to get swept, then again this is Milwaukee we are talking about and I don’t think there really is anything that would motivate this team enough to really look like they are trying. In the end this team knows that a win or another lose makes no difference and they are waiting for the offseason to see what happens to this team.
Charlotte comes into this game -4.5 points on the road to a team that if they wanted to could make things very hard for the Bobcats but won’t. Charlotte makes their own history tonight with their first four game sweep.
