Why Bet The Oklahoma City Thunder To Beat The Warriors

The Thunder are limping into this game after two bone crushing late game losses to the Warriors on Feb 28th and the Clippers last night.

This game will decide the season for Oklahoma City. A loss against the Warriors and the Thunder’s season will unravel, the Billy Donovan experiment will be over and Kevin Durant will look for greener pastures.

Speaking of Durant. He was playing like a beast versus the Warriors until the fourth quarter where uncharacteristic mistakes by the Thunder left the door open for Golden State to steal a W. In the last three, the Thunder have averaged 20.3 turnovers, including 23 against the Warriors.

“They were disciplined and we weren’t,” Durant said. “I need to lead by example. I need to play with a passion, and hopefully it rubs off.” He had 37 points, hitting 7 of 11 from beyond the arc and 12 rebounds. If Durant can turn that switch back on, no one on the Warriors can stop him and that includes defensive specialist Andre Iguodala.

Russel Westbook, meanwhile, has struggled with his shot in the series, hitting 33.9 percent in the last five meetings without a single effort better than 36.8.

Why Bet The Golden State Warriors To Beat The Thunder

No team in the history of the NBA has played like the Warriors are playing right now. Their Tuesday win over the Atlanta Hawks with a game winning shot by Draymond Green in the dying seconds of the game showed that they can win without Steph Curry on the floor.

Curry sat out Tuesday’s 109-105 home overtime win over Atlanta with a left ankle injury suffered the aforementioned 121-118 win at Oklahoma City on Saturday in which he scored 46 and hit the winning shot from 37 feet.

The reigning MVP had three straight 40-point games and was unsurprisingly named Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 43.8 over four games as the Warriors improved to 14-0 over the past two seasons when he reaches 40.

Curry and Iguodala (hamstring) are both questionable for this game versus the Thunder. Coach Steve Kerr said Curry is further along than Iguodala. Without those two, the Warriors still managed to extend their home winning streak to 43, including 25-0 this season with wins coming by an average of 15.2 points.

Expert ATS Pick & Final Score Prediction

Bet the Warriors. Golden State is trying to sweep the three-game regular-season series that could be a preview of the Western Conference finals. Also, the Warriors have also won four straight when hosting the Thunder.

My final score prediction is Indianapolis Oklahoma City 105, Golden State 106.
