NBA Playoff Betting Trends Brooklyn Nets vs Miami Heat

This One Is For All The Marbles

This is the fourth and final game of the regular season between the two and they Nets are leading the overall series 3 games to none. Yes, that is written correctly, the Nets have not lost to the Heat all season long. This game will give them their first sweep of Miami ever and that will be huge for them heading into the post season knowing full well they could meet up with the Heat sooner than later.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Miami Heat
The Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heat hit the hard-court in their final meeting this season.
Starts: 04/08/2014 8:00PM
American Airlines Arena, 601 Biscayne Blvd.

Brooklyn understands that rest is important but I’m sure they are going to look at this game as the best post season preparation ever, and I doubt that the veterans on this team would pass up the chance to beat the Heat for a fourth straight time. As usual against the Heat the game plan is simple, expose their inside rebounding issues and bad help defense and then take full advantage of it. Brooklyn will want to really grind this game out as they look to dominate Miami, they need to protect the ball as well as play a smooth and calm game, not allowing the Heat to get out on transition.

Miami will be on the hunt for this game, they understand eh impact this could not only have on the Nets but on their own momentum heading into the closing weeks of the season. This teams needs to fix some of their big holes on defense while also finding a healthy second option behind James to make something happen. Bosh and Wade are there but Allen´s three´s have not been as good as they were in past seasons and without their centers to cause problems while the starters are on the bench is something of concern.

Pick: Take the Nets in this game, at +6.5 with the chance to sweep, Brooklyn will keep this one dead close and cover that spread.
